RPG com uma história excelente e uma mecânica de combate brilhantemente complexa.

Tem gameplay e inimigos difíceis, porém, sempre justos.

O jogo oculta a história do player casual.
Para revelá-la, o player deve incarnar um arqueólogo, analisando items, cenários e versões dadas por cada NPC, para assim tirar as suas próprias conclusões.
Portanto, Dark Souls separa-se de outros jogos que não aproveitam o potencial de um meio totalmente interativo e que esquecem-se de que não são filmes e nem livros, mas sim, um jogo.

Em Dark Souls não existe equipamentos ruins:
A armadura não é escolhida apenas pela defesa mas também pela mobilidade;
A arma não é escolhida pelo dano mas sim, pelo seu estilo de luta único.

O multiplayer apresenta-se nas formas de cooperação ou PvP. O PvP é bem técnico e competitivo e por isso, faz-te ficar ainda mais interessado neste game.

A must-play.

Perfect blend of metroidvania and soulslike games.
You play as Lily, a girl that summons spirits that fight on her behalf.

[Art & Soundtrack]
- The game soundtrack is brilliant. Through music, each map picks a color from the emotions palette and it immediately paints an intense and pristine image of a world in your mind's canvas at the moment you enter an area. Worlds of sorrow, nostalgia, jolliness, epicness, serenity, dread and even impending doom are effortlessly created by this BGM in your heart, enticing you to push forward to explore worlds beyond.
- The art is superb and its style flawlessly fits the game theme and lore. Often, you will catch yourself gazing at the dazzling landscapes in awe, instead of worrying about enemies. Every checkpoint and boss areas make you want to press the F12 button to save a screenshot.
- Character design is beautiful. The main spirits' and Lily's, especially.

[Gameplay]
- Controls are tight.
- Enemy combat is fair and engaging.
- Good variety of abilities that allows you to experiment with different playstyles and make reaching new areas an interesting adventure.
- Good variety of items that can impact your character's build.
- Good puzzles that respect your intellect.

[Map Design]
- Map exploration feels very satisfying and rewarding.
- Great amount of map themes. To list a few: oblivion rain town, wretched castle, prisons of anguish, dazzling water world, suffocating abyss, poisonous underworld, etc.
- Good map design that makes the world feel natural when opening new areas from old areas when backtracking with new abilities.
- Every map presents a different challenge through its different design.
- Late maps are 100% hostile, making you love them.
- Great amount of hidden paths and hidden items.

[Story]
- Good story.
- Good story presentation. Cutscenes don't drag for long and are sparse.
- Three endings let you choose what the canon finale is.

[Quality of life ]
- Marking the map areas that haven't been 100% completed.
- Marking leads to unexplored paths.
- Warping to key areas.

[Replayability]
- New Game +.
- Refight bosses.
- Refight bosses in sequence speed challenge.

[Could Improve]
- Just a bit more of enemy variety.
- Some mini bosses could've been harder.

- Fair price for the playtime duration.
