Really fun puzzler where you're given a point-in-time scenario and need to work through who everyone is and what happened. Fairly short, but I enjoy that it lasts just long enough to not get boring.

Amazing how quickly I went from not knowing about this game to very much looking forward to the sequel.

Honestly just a classic party game. Great aesthetic, very accessible, while still having the possibility for a very high skill ceiling if you want to push yourself. A game of hubris - highly recommended.

Very cool game, I highly recommend it. Best played through with as little information as possible. Smooth controls, lots to explore and read about, great music, and entertaining characters. Weakest part for me was the AWE DLC, but that's because I don't know anything about the Alan Wake series. If you enjoy adventure games and SCP-like worlds, get this immediately.

I've never been much of a fan for fighting games, but this one seems to bridge that gap very well. The training mode is super extensive, the quality to detail is massive, and overall it's one of those "easy to learn, hard to master" games, which I love. It's also a great game to just put in Big Picture mode and duke it out with your friends.

This is a great multiplayer, team-based game that I wish was given mode of a chance by the devs. It started out strong, then just sorta...died. However, since it's free, everyone should really play this game, and there is quite the mapper community behind it as well. All in all, good game, try it out.

One of the few games in recent years to hold my complete attention for an entire week. You'll get more out of it if you played the first, but it's not necessary; you just need to play this game.

You can shoot fireballs. You can cast chain lightning. You can create a rock barrier. You can shoot electric fireballs. You can cast healing rain. You can shock enemies you just doused with a waterball. You can enchant your weapon with firey healing powers. You can make an icey-shock-death barrier. You can do all of this with up to three other people, who can join with you to combo everything with everything - times 4.

How do you NOT buy this game?

This is honestly one of the BEST games I have ever played. It's a severely underrated parkour game that uses simple color schemes and fun gameplay mechanics to give an experience that's all it's own. There are a few problems, such as a short story and no DLC on Steam (where I bought it), so you might run out of stuff to play before you WANT to be done. However, I chalk that up to it being such a good game that you simply want more.

Take Geometry Wars, Asteroids, and Audiosurf and put 'em in a pot. Throw in some crazy, seizure-inducing lightshows and maybe a touch of intense "How will I get out of THIS one?!" gaming moments. Mix it all up and put it up for sale on Steam, and there you have Beat Hazard.
