Well, I don't know about how "Restored" it is, but it's definitely Free, man.

There's some cut out content in the game like the hillarious "get him" scene, and more. I also find it very funny how they've also managed to restore some bugs!

10 Free men of 10.

How many HL copies do we need on Steam? - Yes.

The violation of the Sacred Temple Continues

!!!Do NOT buy this game if you're a Legit Achievement Hunter!!!

Ah... there's a lot to debate on with the Sacred Series, both the good side and the bad, but, hey! Let's be honest, Sacred is one of the best Fantasy RPGs ever made, accompanied by Diablo 1&2. Huge potential, fun to play, kinda silly, but even now it is a decent game to come back to and play.

Well, forget about all of this, let's talk about Sacred Citadel - a very mediocre action kind of a platformer beat'em up game with a very overextended story that feels like a soulless for no reason made up game that wears an unowned self-acclaimed Title. This might sound too harsh, yet, I really feel being betrayed.

Somewhere far, far away in the darkest corners of Ancaria begins our journey... and it begins with a fire alarm going out. Like, in a bad way. A VERY BAD WAY. Honestly, you don't need to know. The combat is very CC related: too many stuns, too many blocks, DMG avoid and everything else feels very overextended. Every character has Basic Attacks, some alternative Heavy Attacks and some Combos/Magics which you don't really need. In an hour or two of playing, you suddenly realize you can spam Basic Attack to the very end of the game, where you kill the last bad guy. All the combos and specials do the same damage as 2-3 basic attacks, but require more actions (keys) triggered. You do combos and specials with combinations like left left right A left Y etc. Just spam A to win, ey?

Sacred Citadel is fun to play once, but never to come back to. It's very repetitive, kinda dull and boring. You can also share this colorful experience with your friends if you manage to tie them up and make them play the game with you. Yes, it has COOP and is controller/keyboard support. So, double fun with friends! YAY (No).

I have a decent gaming experience, and I'm aware of how the corp politics and ownership work sometimes, but why won't you just stick to some patterns or schemes? How Iconic was Seraphim as a character? Or, do you remember Vampiress? Or Gladiator? Good, now let's not talk about them at all, but look at what we have here: a shaman, a rogue, a mage and a warrior. Yes, we got some classes, not the characters. We got mechanics, but not the Sacred itself.

The classes are mostly about the looks. They play the same, beside some of them have different attack range, animations and a different "Ultimate" skill. They are not interesting to play, not interesting to master. It's mostly about which exact ultimate or skill set (of like 2 skills (spells)) you prefer more than another. On the one hand it's easy to understand, easy to manage, yet the combo system and constant CC is killing all the mood. You must be VERY good at this game to not get stunned or parried too often, and I tell you - the further you progress into the story, the more often mobs seem to have a CC attack... In last two acts it just gets ridiculous.

I've played this for 42 hours, so I'll just say it - it was a deep wound. A real pain in the ... I got this game because I'm really into Sacred series. I know the 3 Sacred dragons' meme, the Sacred_1 - Sacred_2 - Sacred_3 meme, and you know what? It's true. Yet, this game is another topic. It's on another level, it's another case, another dimension. Absolutely don't try it if you're in search of something equal to Sacred_1 or Sacred_2 experience, or looking for a canon sequel or a story. Just don't. See it as an unrelated game.

The achievements.
"Never back down" Complete all challenges using one character.
It is a broken achievement that can not be unlocked in any valid way. So, yeah, Legit Achievements Hunters, Sacred Citadel is not made for you, too.

Mental all the way

Sam 'Serious' Stone is back for some more action. Armed with guns and one-liners, Sam never says 'no' to any action. Where action is, Sam is. Ok, i'm done.

I just won't hide it and say that i'm a fan of Serious Sam games. These games are probably the only games I've played that much. Serious Sam games were always fun, challenging and very replayable. Now, the very first time i've played Serious Sam 2 was back then it was just released. And i didn't enjoy it at all. Somehow i found It too cartoonish, too different from what i like so much about FE and SE. So i quit and went back to SE.
Times goes on and i get the Serious Sam Pack on Steam. Of course, Serious Sam 2 is also included. Now, let's finish history lessons, and get to where i give it another chance:

What can i say? Well, i guess something changed. Did they add something? Remastered it? Fixed something? No idea, yet this time it felt all different. I just finished it and didn't get any negative feels about it at all. It now has that same Serious Sam character in everything. Running, shooting, jumping, the jokes, Easter eggs. I felt exactly opposite of what i felt back then. Serious Sam 2 felt like something between Encounters and Serious Sam 4 (wow, really? Great, you can count). No, i mean it feels like the Golden Middle (And that's very odd). Dual wielding like in 4, but no skill required for it. You can go dual guns right from the start. Doesn't feel so restricted in map design and story like game 3 and 4. Maps here are smaller than in SE, yet bigger than in 3 and 4, and you can also pilot(drive) different machinery like in 4. This can go on...

Serious Sam 2 plays like a decent old-school shooter and something modern at the same time. The theme is all the same - enemies are around every corner, it's always a fight with many-many bullets shot. This time Sam just doesn't bother about jokes he makes. It can be a fart one joke, a body language one, a reference, or a sophisticated subject joke. He behaves like a nice fella, a cool guy, a gentleman, and a man child at the same time. And that's probably how Sam should be.

Big secrets, big puzzles, big guns, big enemies. Big game.

Ew! Gross! WOW! Bleh!

This review will not spoil any of the story, but will give you some info on how the game feels and what to expect from it.

Firstly, i want to point out that i don't like playing horror games. Horror games are just not my genre. Most of them are a jump scare mess with mechanics like running from enemies, playing tags and hide-and-seek, which are really annoying. That's just an opinion.

Now... i dare to say that Scorn is NOT a Scary-type Horror game. I will quote someone from Discussions: "this game is a 'Museum'. Absolutely agreed. Scorn is an immersive work of art, and i am not a fan of Gigers art style, or Aliens movies to say that, no. It just how it feels - Scorn is brilliantly disgusting. It's a visual rollercoaster where you only get some little idea of what's happening and only if you pay attention to your surroundings. It doesn't tell you anything in words, colorful pointers or else. Only shows you the deformed environment and grotesque structures. And it's not the case where you get to understand the idea clearly! It will only give you hints. The Story of Scorn is Untold! That is also mentioned in the trailer. It is NOT the case of speed running through the game. Play it attentively. There's a LOT of gore in the scenery you should be ready for, and you can't avoid that.

Now, about the gameplay: The goosebumps were circling up and down my spine all the time while i was playing. I was into Scorn and i'm feeling quite disappointed now about how little there is while i'm writing this review...It took me 6.1 hours to finish it. And it was not enough. I want more of it. More of places to explore. More to visit, to see, and more to realize of how it all could become like it is. Don't get me wrong, you get plenty. But, i can't tell you more.

One of the most popular opinions is that Scorn is not so great with its combat mechanics and lacks action. Unfortunately, you can't expect a lot of action from Scorn at all. The combat in Scorn feels like secondary. You can avoid most of the enemies you encounter. The weaponry is very uncommon, comparing to the best-known shooter games. At first, it feels clunky, so you need to get used to it. Then it won't bother you anymore. Enemies in Scorn are not made to jump scare you, to outnumber, or to make you hide in corners hiding. Yet, they are pretty dangerous.

Now, to summarize it:
- Short and untold story.
- It doesn't scare you much. It's just gross and probably will make you feel sick and uncomfortable.
- Lacks action and has uncommon combat mechanics which are disliked by the community.
- No dialogue, no texts.
- No map, no markings, no points to follow, no directional UI.

Edited 20.10.2022:

- Too much contradictions in it's present state.
- Go to Discussions before you buy and find a specific "Scam allert" topic.

Edited 22.10.2022
- Follow Scorn and wait for the developers to take any actions. If they ever will.

Edited 10.02.2023
- Nothing changed.

The Caves call for the Balbalian!

So here's the thing about this game: somehow it feels oddly good. All that funny static 3d modeled scenery and funny faces all over the screen makes you giggle, yet the well-written texts make you dig the story. For a single run, this game might be considered short. Yet, there are several story branches which lead to different routes and endings. "The Barbarian and the Subterranean Caves" game has some sexual content in it, which can be turned off with checking a box at the very beginning of the game. Not in the options. (Note: this will make some achievement impossible to get) Nothing extraordinary if you want to know.

The gameplay is just about you choosing the text lines of what to do next: to go North, to go right, to sneeze etc. There are no difficult puzzles in the game to struggle with, only choices to make. You can always save your game before you pick something. Might get lost in the caves if not paying any attention at all. Also, there's a "random pattern" tavern game, which you can quit or even avoid continuing with the story.

Well at least they don't lie about the numbers

I somehow enjoyed this game more than I thought I would. Yet, it's very repetitive.
It is a top-view wave mode zombie shooter, where you get a new set of guns with each wave cleared. That's probably it.
Zombies drop items which are scraps, med kits and boosters. Collecting scraps helps you to build turrets.
And there's really over 9000 zombies... And other things... like crabs.
Ah, you can also meet a zombie Mozart. And kill it. It's crazy, I know. Play with friends. Or don't. Lots of custom maps on Workshop.
The best map is The Room. it's a hint.

I was wrong with thinking that "Over 9000 zombies" game will be great for my travel/work laptop, which is a low spec piece of plastic.
Unfortunately it happens to be not very suitable since when you get to wave 10+ it will require lots of processing (and will lag).
Somehow handles Serious Sam 1 and 2 with all the crowds. Not this. Had to finish it on mid-spec.

Teach a cat to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.

When i saw "Cat goes fishing" title, i didn't take it serious. Who would? I thought it's a simple "get as much score as possible" type of game where there's a cat for some comedy and a small pond with few fishies. A cat that goes fishing - how serious can it be? Well, somehow this game is just more than it looks. Unbelievable how quickly i change my mind after i realized that small fish was just the beginning. And then more happened. I don't want to spoil it, but things got real very fast.

This game is about the BIG ones.

In less than an hour i've changed my mind for good and all. The game is very fun and entertaining. It looks and plays simple, but is so nice. Looks cartonish but greatly made. There's much MORE from what you might think there is!

There are two game modes in Cat Goes Fishing: Relax mode and Realism mode where fish struggle. You start with a simple rod, but later get better equipment for more advanced warfare fishing. This game feels like an open-world RPG, but it is not. Absolutely amazing. Try it out!

*Cue the most stereotype college rock record*
"WO-O-O-O-O-H-O-O-O-O! My father has a yacht, let's steal it and make our dreams come true!"

Welcome back to shiny Banoi with its sandy shores and greenish vegetation. But now with cartoonish-like borderlands-type visuals which are... Interesting. Having played a lot of Dead Island series and haven't somehow waited enough for Dead Island 2 to be released yet, i've now decided to play this game.

And it was fun. No matter what they say about it. Weird, but fun. Feels like a Resident Evil/Tomb Raider/Dead Island crossover. No multiplayer, no coop, just an SP story with a VERY(and i mean it) bizarre story. At some points you can't take it serious but want more out of it, and you get it. Most of the players find it as a cliché or dull, but, i call it spicy. Several things were added, and you know what they are alike only after you try it by yourself. I can't agree it's a not worth a try.

This is an open-world game, but it has a smaller map and therefore no driving. The melee combat system is simplified, but more shooting involved. Really loved the way it's balanced, since the original Dead Island was mostly a melee combat game. And yes, it's a third-person perspective. Although, the first person melee combat was a "thing" for a Dead Island series, now we get what we get. A different approach that happens to be neither awful nor great. More like 7/10. No more upgrades applied to found weapon by player's choice, but upgraded weapons found and collected, and there are only few. Well, the difference is real.

Escape from Dead Island should not be considered as a successor game, but a spin-off. Unfortunately, those waiting for Dead Island 2 find this instead of Dead Island 2. That's probably the only reason Escape from dead island has [Mixed] reviews.

First there were islands

Small and cute game about building a city on small or bigger islands. Something between a city builder and a puzzle game. It has relaxing colours, a lovely music and cartoonish models. An absolutely Family Friendly game if you ask me.
The gameplay is a loop: you get a random island and a choice of two construction classes to pick from. That repeats and as you progress you get higher score and more constructions to choose from.

Check it out. Very fun to play! Loved it.

Night shift patrol on taking the big guys out

This game feels like a dream of some sort. Emptiness and weightiness, distant lights in a mist and a voice in a head. If you'll pay enough attention you'll find many references. But mostly fog, trees and landscapes. While Titan Chaser is an exploration game, there's still a job that is to be done. No worries, it's very obvious. There are no puzzles or hard thinking. Hey, it's taged "Relaxing" for a reason. There are no indicators or marks on a map of where to go, but i think it's very obvious to navigate it. Will be much more easier if you download the map from Discussions. Just a few highways and crossroads to deal with. Ah, yes, also the titans.

So there are Titans and there's you. They are lost and you make them go away. How simple can it be? Read the notes, follow the tasks, drive on roads and that's it. Loved the car control mechanics and it's SFX. Engine starts like it's a brand new ferrari, yet driving sounds like it's a bucket with bolts which it permanently fixed by a mechanic sitting under the hoof(The wrench fix SFX when driving is hilariously brilliant) Realizm over 9000. Thanks.

There are LOTS of Indie games on steam and yet only few are reasonable to play. Few are unique and nicely made. Titan Chaser is one of them. Glad i raked it out. Great Experience.
