I don't consider myself a souls veteran by any means. my first souls game was elden ring. and by now i finished most of the popular souls like games (darksouls 1-3, BB, sekiro, Lies of P maybe a few others)

this game was, decent. not amazing. certainly not worth the 50 bucks for OG price. the $10 seems reasonable. maybe $15 would be fine too for normal price. but i have a few problems too. the game itself is not really hard. i can count the amount of times i died on 2 hands. 1 hand if we don't count the experimental deaths i had with an elevator and the water. i died 7 times total.

the main problem i have is with the story progression. if you wanna finish side quests you get locked out in the last area. they do warn you but i don't get why you get locked out of them. there is also the thing with the last area that if you miss an echo and progress too far. you can't go back anymore because you don't have fast travel after going to the last area.

overall for a $10 game i give this a 6-7/10
if i were to rate it as a $50 game. probably closer to like a 3-4/10

the game took like 12 hours to finish, and that's with exploring a lot. and watching every cutscene. I know it says i have 15 hours but i have been afk for quite a bit just watching stuff in the background while the game was running. so actualy play time is like 12 hours

i would recommend this as long as it is on sale. otherwise no. not worth $50

Good game, just want to report a bug with the water system.i assume this is an unintentional bug. if you create a waterstream that loops into itself you will continiue to float around in the same waterstream forever without being able to reset or pause. you have to alt f4 to get out. probably should make it so you die after a loop or 2. or be able to pause in waterstreams to avoid this

controls kinda wack if you are used to souls games. you can change them. but if you do it will change how your controlls work in the menu as well. you want x to be a certain action. well now x is the action of back/exit in the menu. very annoying

well, i did it. 100% the game. got all achievements. 10/10 would play again
