Out of all the years I have played this game off & on, its still fun to play most of all with all the modding options we got.
on that note i wanna thank any mod makers that happen to read this, THANKS <3. =^.^!=

this is a amazing game if you wanna play something on the side but cant full focus on the game, you can set option to have it pause on any event(letter) that happens, i find it very relaxing/chill game to play, till something goes wrong & everyone dies >:3 unless you just get tired of that save and move on instead :3

one downside though with the power of mods and the infinite possibility's sometimes mod updates can break a save <.<
it dont happen to often mainly only on major updates.

i have not beaten the game yet, but first impresson after about 50h of real gameplay across 2 saves maybe split 6/44!

games crashed on me a few times but over all not to bad for a game that needed a bit more time in the oven! (from what i understand investers forced the companys hands releasing before they felt it was ready)
on that note, game seems to mainly crash for me when im in it for long time, like 6+hr ALL but 1 time, i was loading OBS to stream and it insta crashed while in main menu still but that has only happen 1 time so far.

I do hop all the toxic talk ppl throwing at the game dont make the company cut & run... i hop they keep working to improve the game to the point they feel it was ready & make new content!

On the note of releasing before it was ready, i feel they should have just released on steam early access program, being way more open & chill about the game not being ready but this is what we got so far!!!(is consoles have early access programs than maybe on them too)


Something i find super funny is so many ppl throwing toxic talk about the game... BUT they wont stop playing it. LOL its like they are loving to hate & rant about it.

idk why i do like the dungoens games >.<
including dungeons 3 for its co-op campains
sad dungeons 2 had no AI vs with friend or co-op at all but w/e
really like war for the overworld too

love this game & war for the overworld
kinda wish i could combine the both and make a even better game =^.^=

I got gifted this game from a friend.
& have to say i enjoy this game way more than i thought i would!
sadly i just have so many other new games i dont get to play as much as i want,
also prefer to play games with ppl & at this time got more ppl wanting to play a few other games instead.

love this game, just kinda wish i had someone to also play with

Update as of 1/18/2020 this map still dose not work from the day it came out to now

Update 6/22/20 I got the map to load for the first time from date of release: 6/12/17

1. what i did was go into DLC manager un-selecte all and save, wait for that to finish.
2. fav all ur mods so u can find them easy again & than un-sub to them all, let that finish.
3. go into you ark mods location "steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods"
4. CTRL+A to select all & than Delete! let that finish up.
5. go into DLC manager again and select Ragnarok & only Ragnarok!!!, let that DL it should be around 3.1Gb in size as of writing this! let that finish,
6. TEST TIME see if this works for you!! it should work on more than just this map if having problems.

i would recommend making sure you download DLC/mods 1 at a time to be extra safe!

Minecraft style game if into that.
land claim system.
teleporting.
relaxing.
they host your world free

-cons
still early access & has a way to go.
could go in a direction you dont like.
no light holding system as u explore. (unless u buy pro for the flashlight)
could use more server settings including for basic/pro players
