What drew me to this game was the similarity to the Minecraft Forestry mod. The developer did share that they were inspired by it (and apparently the statue in the town is a tribute). I LOVED that mod and I am so happy to be able to relive those times. Although it's not exactly the same (this game is much more optimised), it definitely makes me feel a bit of nostalgia. Loving it so far!

Crossroads Inn definitely fills in a bit of a gap in the market! I love sim/management games and this ticks a lot of boxes for me, it's been a while since I got sucked into a game like this.

Although it has some minor bugs, the devs are doing their best to patch things out as quickly as they can. I've played quite a few hours now and not experienced any bugs that would be classed as more than a minor annoyance. A lot of things have workarounds (e.g. not being able to build upstairs can be worked around by building a door RIGHT at the top of the stairs).

I really love the idea of finding the best value for money when purchasing resources and ingredients from across the map, and building on your recipe and furniture list by visiting other towns. The only thing I feel could be improved as a lot of icons would benefit from names/explanations by hovering over them, and the UI is a little bit confusing until you get the hang of it, some icons are very similar.

The price is worth it to me, and I look forward to seeing the game grow and what the DLC will have to offer us.

Amazing game, so silly to play with friends. Not only can you make your character have the most ridiculous customised skins, but you can spend hours just dragging each other along and throwing people off the edge of the map! Troll behaviour aside, the levels are very fun, and in later levels can be pretty complex! I hope they add more levels soon as the workshop levels feel pretty mute compared to what HFF throws out themselves.

I found this game in the new releases section of Steam because I was looking for something quick and simple to play with friends. Around 7 of us played for a few hours and we had a ton of fun!

The game is basically Prop Hunt, which means a few players are chosen as props and must disguise themselves as furniture (which can still move around), and the others are hunters who have to find and shoot these "players in disguise".

I love the extra tools added to this game. For example props can press C to make taunting sounds to players nearby them, such as screams or farts. They can also throw a smoke bomb to try and get away if spotted. Hunters can throw bombs to destroy an area of furniture and can "scan" the area around them which gives off a radar-like noise if a player prop is detected. Plus there is a "heat" detection in the top right showing where you are near or far from props.

Although we did notice some bugs, the developer is patching daily and responds quickly to forum posts. The maps are quite varied, although the night mode is a bit bright so the torch isn't really any use. The music can drive you a little bonkers but I personally enjoy those upbeat hype type tunes. The controls used to "upright" yourself as a prop if you fall over are a little tricky to master but you'll get there. Standing upright is key! Fallen over furniture looks suspicious in these perfect worlds.

Overall I look forward to watching this game improve and my friends and I will be playing more! Well worth the few pounds it cost.

It's an interesting game. I found myself often facepalming "OHHHH DUH!" after I finally figured something out. You really need knowledge on every champion however, as it seems the first mode you can play expects you to be able to guess EVERY champion to complete it. You can stop and come back whenever you like though.

Overall I enjoy it, some of the art is a little confusing but for a free game what the hell, it's a time killer for sure.

A very fun, cheap little game. I finished the storyline in 30 minutes, however I am a very fast reader and I did not pimp my Tavern out as much as I could have, because I didn't realise that more categories unlock as time goes past. There is a storyline to follow and I think the hourglass on the counter tells you how long you have to complete the storyline. I haven't tried the management mode yet, but I will soon! It's a good game, you pick sides, pick a type of customer to focus on, buy loads of perks and set up a menu. I'd definately recommend it as a fun little time water with potential replayability due to the RNG events you get constantly.

Do you like Harvest Moon? Do you like running a farm? Do you like incredibly rude NPCs that judge your every move (hey man, I can dig in the trash if I want!!)? If yes, then what are you waiting for!?

Stardew Valley is a refreshing take on Harvest Moon with combat similar to Rune Factory and the museum side of Animal Crossing. Customise your character before joining a friendly village full of glorious quests and addictive activities such as growing crops, looking after animals, designing your farm, befriending villagers, exploring mines, kicking monster butt, fishing and of course a captivating storyline where your decisions affect the gameplay. There is so much to unlock! ... Just.. one.. more day.

Depending on your playstyle I’d say there is at least a good 80+ hours of gameplay to experience! With so much to do, including completing collections, the museum and achievements… you will find there is not enough time in the day. The developer is also looking at adding more content including multiplayer (Soon™), so there will be tons to look forward to! So.. what ARE you waiting for?! GO GET IT!
