I like the new map pack but I hate that the desert maps are always set in the European theme so all the high density zoned buildings keep generating with European wall-to-wall structures. I'd recommend the map pack but, I pray that if they put out another to not have the desert maps in the European theme. Cause its happened in 3 map packs already.

The release version is buggy and cut content that was in the early access version. There used to be pool rooms and they were honestly better visually and atmosphere-wise that the POOLS game that came out last year.

If you play in windowed mode, the game now defaults to borderless window mode so you can't move the game's window.
The cursor is also no longer properly bound to the game window and clicks out of the program whenever you move the camera even slightly to the right or down.
This was never an issue in the early access version.
Also, I'm not sure what they did to the lighting and optimization but, the game actually chugs sometimes and there's a lot of artifacting if you move the camera around when looking at reflective/glossy surfaces.
I'm honest not sure how to feel about this game now that its released.
It went from being a game that I replayed 4 times and even used as my own personal expectations for a good liminal space game/walking simulator to being a game that I couldn't even finish playing through once without having issues.
I'd say wait until the devs work the kinks out or add more content (like the sections that were cut) before picking it up.

The stories, the characters, the gameplay, where do I even begin? There aren't many games that can make me both laugh and cry as well as teach me lessons that help me grow as a better person.
I love Deltarune ♥

Early Access Review
Has alot of potential but my only complain right now is...where are the crab types?! Miles of beaches and coastlines but not a single crab/shellfish type 🦀

In spite of its kinks (like units abandoning vehicles when the reinforcement count hits 24), I still consider the original Battlefront as the superior installation in the franchise (especially with all the quality of life updates like added controller support).
Before anyone grabs their pitchforks, let me explain.
BF1 has more polish, better graphics, the ability to go prone (crawling), and vehicles have way more weight and impact with their movement and projectiles (in BF2 most of the ground vehicle don't have splash damage).
Also, BF1 has cockpit view for vehicles (which was cut in the second game).
Visually, the graphics are a lot more vivid and polished when compared to the second.
While the second game has space battles and more locations, the second game is somewhat lacking due to its rushed development and released during the edgy/gritty era of gaming where everything was desaturated.
Also, BF1 has Temuera Morrison voicing the clones and while I think its cool that Sev from Republic Commando is the announcer in the second game, its not really explained immersion-wise (same goes for not keeping Temuera to voice the clones).
Overall, all around, I just prefer BF1 over its sequel and play it more than any of the sequels that followed it.

They added Denuvo (anti-piracy software) to the game that verifies all the game assets every time you enter a new area that causes lag so bad that it actually slows down your computer and even freezes up your browser (if you have one open to play music in the background). Its by far the most invasive anti-piracy software I ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

While it is a fun game, the anti-piracy software is so invasive with the lag it causes that it honestly soured the game for me to the point that I'm just not gonna play it on PC anymore.
At the time of this review, I have an RTX 3080 and an Intel Core i9 so I know its not a matter that my hardware.

I would say wait for them to remove the software before getting this game or get it on console when its on sale so you don't end up paying full price (like me) for a game burdened with bloatware that makes it barely playable to the point that it can potentially cause harm to your computer since (as far as I'm aware) the console versions aren't hampered with Denuvo.

The game also inexplicably crashes. I can't really even give you a reason as for why beyond probably also being tied to Denuvo.

I would talk about how satisfying the shark mechanics are in the game but, with almost 17 hours of play time, the lag is honestly too bad for me to even list you any pros about the game beyond the first area (the bayou) since the lag will only become glaringly apparent once you unlock more areas in the game.

From what I've read about online, the game wasn't always laggy and in fact actually ran smoothly back in 2021.
With that said, I will say again do NOT buy this game on Steam or even Epic. Get it on console so you won't have to restart your first playthrough like I have to.

UPDATE: It's now Shark Week 2025, I wanted to stream the game and see if it improved at all but, its STILL unplayable thanks to Denuvo. I tried getting the game on GOG (DRM free) but it was taken down. Despite Denuvo being an anti-tampering software, it sure doesn't make the game worth buying if its gonna run so poorly. Don't even buy it during this current sale. Find it elsewhere.

This is the REAL RoboCop 3 🦾
Its extremely faithful to the source material and its the best game I played all year and it honestly deserves to be Game of the Year!
It taught me the importance of being human, standing up for what's right, and even the importance of self-worth, self-care, and mental health as well as how stress takes its toll on the brain.

This game made me laugh, cheer, and even cry.
It had literally everything I ever wanted in a RoboCop game 💙
