Not quite D2, not even close to PoE but 100% better than D3. Get this over TL3. The game is solid and fun and with mods just so much replayability.

Have to change my review now because they DID listen and changed the lifebound system.
So yes I would recommend this game to curious players. As I stated before this is not TL2 but it's a darn good game and if they continue to work at it, it can become a worthy addition to the TL series.

I've only played for a few hours but I'm in love. The game play is solid and delightful. Every character plays uniquely and the dual leveling system is spot on, leveling the overall family and each character having their own level with ability and passive progression. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous. I don't think I have seen more pleasing pixel art before. But the real shine here is the story telling. between every loss and successful crawl we are given sweet and heart tugging bits of the family's story, each character getting their own focus. I very much look forward to finishing this one. It is 100% worth it's price tag.
