Other than CS-1.6 this is one of the only games that makes me feel like I should have been born earlier

I can accept the game is old, the character moves slow, the cars need the entire street to turn 90*, the constant z-fighting on the cutscenes. But, the game was updated but was never improved, there is no support for better FOV meaning you have to play the game right next to Nico's head or not at all, the mouse sensitivity doesn't go higher than an ant with only 3 legs, you can't even map a key to 2 separate things, the game, at least when I played it got stuck on the second mission because the game, out of nowhere, decides to just zoom in on the car's headlight and makes the cutscene unskipable, the loading screens are pure white while the entire game is a moody brown causing you to be smited by the might of Zeus when you "accidentally" play the game, if you don't have my problems you most likely will get the other numerous bugs, when you have to un-update your game for it to function correctly, the game shouldn't be up for sale for $20, if you truly want to play the story, watch a playthough, your experience will be untainted watching those than having to deal with this game. In fact I wouldn't even suggest pirating this game, the 19gb this game takes up for how little you actually get from the game is more of a deterrent, to put that into perspective you can buy Half Life 2 which costs 50% less, takes up 34% of the space, is infinitesimally more modifiable, has a beta that's arguably more interesting than this story, and has so many games that build off of it. You can buy the Orange Box for the same amount of money as this, this game should cost at most $5, even then there are so many free games that throw this out of any competition, this game sucks, on every level.

I quit Brawlhalla close to 5 months ago, I enjoyed my time, but it just wasn't enjoyable anymore.

There is a constant balancing issue for when a new character with overtuned stats comes out, it affects every character with that weapon. That is such a terrible way to balance a game. If you play with a character that has a low playrate, get ready to be completely ignored and learn to dread new releases for your weapon. And it's not just new characters, it's also just BCX wins too, If you're a Lin Fei player, your katars are balanced off of Asuri, not Lin Fei. If you play Jiro, your scythe is balanced off of Mordex, Cannon off of Onyx, Gauntlets off of Wu Shang/Val, etc.

If a weapon is balanced off of a specific stat range that means that if a character does not have the stats to back it up, that character is useless. Lin Fei for instance suffers from two weapons that have had obnoxious nerfs to their on-miss and regular recovery frames along with the damage of every move available, cannon on it's own has had 3 hitbox nerfs over it's post-rework life, this is to cover the fact that cannon is balanced for Onyx who actually has the damage output to justify the slowness, Lin Fei doesn't. When you play a non-meta character, especially one that is not strength focused you are playing with one hand tied, because not only do you have to deal with slow weapons, your light attacks don't damage as they should, nor your heavy attacks. When I found out that a double halfpipe (a 6 hit combo) on strength Lin Fei does half the damage of a single hammer sair on Thor I couldn't take it anymore, BMG has no idea how to balance their characters.

It was this and constant Lin Fei nerfs patch after patch that made me quit, it was the Ascended Wu Shang controversy that made me continue to not play the game and it was the BP giving already loaded characters more skins that made me finalize never playing this game. I'm sorry, I supported this game but I'm never going to be listened to and any conversation is going to be buried under more and more content that makes her worse, Loki has bigger sigs, Zuvo and Imugi have higher damage sigs with quicker start up and end times, what's the point?

As a joke I chose to complete the game without having sex with anyone, turns out it's not as developed as you'd think it should be. Actually completing the game without having sex is impossible because of the rape scene with the human before the end of the game, in fact a lot of the characters show rapey tendencies, and are ♥♥♥♥♥ when you choose not to have sex with them, and some treat you like you did have sex with them (the smart glasses fox lady for example), not much dialog is added for choosing to not have sex with them (the only person with extra dialog is the bunny lady). Another thing is that sometimes you are given dozens of options but the character responds the same for each option, for example when the android leaves the town and asks you what you think of monsters, you are given 6 or so options but they all have the same answer no matter what. I was also kind of sad that Ara friendzones you at the end of the game even though I wanted to have a meaningful relationship. But I am looking forward to the sequel
