Every update seems to make the game worse

Very fun platformer, with a beautiful artstyle and story.

Excellent installment in the Tekken franchise.

I'm so lonely...

Pros -

My first playthrough of TREE, there was no sound and I assumed it was silent for a purpose. I enjoyed the game but I did not unlock all the achievements, so I played through a second time.
This time the sound worked and my experience was vastly improved. The story was much more impactful with sound, as you would expect.
It is a very simple game and story but told in an interesting way. It's free, so why not give it a shot.

The biggest and perhaps only failure this game has is the decision to tell the story through the format of a visual novel. This is not a failure in the sense that the game is lessened by this choice but because it may limit the amount of people who would choose to play it due to a bias against the genre. Had this game have any other style of gameplay, it would be much easier to recommend without having to risk spoilers.
This game is a masterclass in subverting expectations. One of the biggest enjoyments for me in the past few days is listening to friends try and figure out what is going to happen in the story as they are playing. If this is the first review you read for this game, do not read any other review and just play the game.

Despite obvious first impressions you may have about HuniePop, in my opinion this game is by far the most addicting puzzle game in years. Although, that may be because Tetris did not have naked women as a focal point.
