One tip will make you smarter than half of the people in these reviews -- dont waste doors. That's it. RNG is truly negligible once you stop WASTING DOORS. Great game. Devs should increase the speed of just about every interaction though, I'm running it at 1.5x with cheat engine in the mean time.

I have two different gamepads, both of which I tried with numerous 'fixes' from around the internet. From what I can gather, this has been a problem for FIVE YEARS. This game should be removed from the store, it's just straight up broken.

Truly baffling combat system. Normal dog in the forest took 8+ hits to kill, all the while it's strafing around input reading my every attack. It's a real shame, because the rest of the game does seem genuinely engaging. Intro/tutorial are far too long and put you well past the refund period.

UPDATE: The bigger problem is a lack of adequate combat training in the beginning of the game. For instance - the dogs that I couldn't kill with a sword (which I did have the stats for btw) were easily killed with an axe. Why can I hit them with an axe and not a sword? Who knows! Anyway, the rest of the game absolutely makes up for this shortcoming and even with the janky combat this is one of the best RPGs I've played in two decades.

Satisfying puzzle game with a ton of replay value.

Got this on sale for $18. At that price i figured what the hell i'll get a few hours of entertainment out of it, the reviews look decent! Don't make the same mistake as me, this game isn't worth it at any price. Boring story, boring combat, every system in this game seems like it was specifically designed to bore me more than the last. Unless someone is literally going to pay you to play this, PASS.

Roguelite shooter with the satisfying gun-play of destiny. Was going to say it's a bit pricey for what's currently on offer but i did get 30 hours out of it which i think is more than fair for the current $40 price tag.

Ambitious and impressive. Not much of a game, but held my attention for the duration anyway. Played to completion on gamepass, and purchased on steam to further support the devs.

A lovingly crafted "earthbound-like". A little bit long winded, but effective nonetheless.

Really great concept, Kind of falls flat after the other shoe drops but it's free and only like four hours long ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
