When I first reviewed this game, I had 3.5 hours in the Steam version. Back then, I said this:

Four years after the initial release, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt still remains the greatest game I've ever played.

It is truly a masterpiece with near perfect writing, unsurpassed quest design, and compelling characters involved in deeply tragic stories. All of that is backed up by one of the best soundtracks that I've had the pleasure of listening to. It also stays very true to the source material it draws from and respects the history of the franchise.

Everyone needs to play this game.

My opinion was valid, because I had originally played the game outside of Steam. But now 315 hours in, and having completed the whole game + DLC, I can go ahead and definitively say that 5 years after the initial release of this game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt still remains the best ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game I have ever played.

I could go on praising the game's quest design, it's story, it's characters, voice acting, the amazing visuals, the soundtrack, the developer's foresight, the details hidden away in the world, and so on. But I won't.

I'll simply say this again: Everyone needs to play this game.
