Just finished creating my character

As of right now, the game has mixed reviews.

It's an amazing game, yeah. It's pretty, has an cool art style, it's balanced, fun, the crafting and customization points are awesome, the monetization is not predatory, and killing stuff feels awesome. It's a middle-ground between Diablo 4 and Path of Exile in terms of complexity.

However, the game is COMPLETELY unplayable online, right now, because their servers are utterly garbage. You face 10 minutes loading screens, long queues, and constant disconnects. Unless you try to connect at odd times and, even then, you'll end up facing those problems once in a while. It does feature an offline mode, so if you're like me and you couldn't care less about trading because you play solo-self found, you'll have no problems and enjoy the game.

That being said, given the server issues, mixed reviews are COMPLETELY FAIR at this moment.
Should you buy it? Depends. If you don't mind playing offline, definitely do. If you want to play with other people or use the trading faction, I would say wait a little bit until they figure their stuff out. Looking forward to the future of this game, as it seems bright, but to keep people hyped, they need to fix their servers.
