Where to start? I started playing CS over 20 years ago, back when it was first released as a mod of Half-Life. Over that time, things haven't changed much but the toxicity from players has increased ten-fold. It used to be the best FPS of its generation along with the community, but now it's full of cheaters and absolutely toxic players.

Best FPS of 2023. But I got a 3 day ban for preaching about ♥♥♥♥♥ and his disciples. Apparently the admins don't approve of Christianity. Would be a 5* review if there weren't emotionally sensitive admins who ban based on their own beliefs.

UPDATE: Now it's a 5 year ban for mentioning an active current ongoing war in our world. ON A VIDEO GAME OF WAR. Don't even talk in this game, otherwise you might offend a single snowflake admin and be banned from ALL servers based of what they think is an acceptable time-frame. Then, having the ban appealed is a hit or miss, as the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Discord server doesn't have any evidence of the conversation of the snowflake admin who decided to type the ban command and amount of time they felt necessary. Piss poor admin accountability and control.

UPDATE 2: I appealed the ban, and the ultimate admin/admins reversed everything. It's nice to see understandability. We all make mistakes as humans from time to time, and it's nice to see the general human willing to give a second chance. Changing my review to positive!

It was a promising game, but the dev team abandoned this game faster than the next COD release. Only play if it becomes free.

Giving this game props despite all the recent negative reviews.
If you put some thought and planning in, the rounds are intense and very satisfying.

An amazing game even with it being a bit older. The gun-play is extremely smooth and fluid. Story is dark, deep, and action packed. A must play!

Better than CS:GO.

This would be a thumbs up review; if it wasn't for the existence of Creation Club.
