Blender is a unique 3D software that will continue to constantly improve because of its community and support from players like Ubisoft, EpicGames and Microsoft who all contribute to the Blender trust fund. I personally got into blender 2 years ago, and have started using the steam build fairly recently. Since then I have been practicing 3D hardsurface modelling. Since the industry is still stuck with maya's robust platform, I will eventually have to study more of that and leave blender for awhile since i plan to get into game dev, but I will never stop choosing blender for personal projects. Run and Gun are not as simple as it seems...There is no mini map, 1 bullet can kill you instantly most of the time and the game values the sounds that you hear to show where the enemy is. It takes a little time to get used to, but once youre used it, the fun value increases, especially when you play with your friends. The new insurgency sandstorm may not be for everyone's computer, and the original is still a great game nonetheless which can stand all on its own.
