An absolutely incredible game. When I was younger playing Harvest Moon on the Gamecube, GBA, and DS at the "conclusion" of each game I was always left feeling what if they really ran with the concept of this farming simulation. Stardew Valley is that game. But to my delight they have in addition to the relationship elements and seasonal traditions they went much deeper on the character development and mechanics.

Concerned Ape has created a fantastic game, this is one of the few games I didn't wait for a deep discount on and I wasn't disappointed as the developer has added large updates and continues to develop new features for the game. If any indie game can be considered a tour de force or breakout hit this would be the one. Indie enough to be really innovative but deep enough to sink small and large amounts of time into without being left wanting for a return of game.

Update after 7 years of playing. This game continues to be astoundingly fun and the updates have made the game even better.
