Baldur's Gate 3 is an astounding achievement, and one of the finest games I've ever played. Every aspect of this game has been crafted with not just tremendous skill but love.

Larian didn't have to performance-capture everything but they did, making the conversations so immersive they transcend the genre.

They also didn't have to give us ~80 hours of amazing gameplay and storytelling that branches in so many varied ways you'll want to play it again and again but they did.

They didn't have to make the cosmetics/content just everywhere in the game rather than paid-for-DLC but they did and that might be the biggest immersion-helper there is here. Never being told about a "store" means you're JUST ENJOYING THE GAME. DO YOU HEAR ME, OTHER STUDIOS?!

And now I hear they're working on making this fully cross-play?

Amazing. Astounding. A game I'm not even sure I'm worthy of. Standing ovation, and so much respect to Larian for Baldur's Gate 3
