This game is an excellent portrayal of the savagery, and merciless brutality of the second world war. The grittiness of the atmosphere, the 'show-don't-tell' style of storytelling, and the CONTROL the game gives you over whose lives you take away, and whose past and futures are burned away in time forever whether you kill them, or your friends do; it all comes together to create the (what I believe to be) most raw and unforgiving WW2 game to exist.
When you kill someone in this game, it doesn't feel like you're just killing a generic game npc. It feels like you're taking everything that someone could have been away, forever. Stories and lessons learned throughout life to tell their children, friends, or family are eradicated from history forever.
