About as empty as the white marble hud.

A basic Real Time Grand Strategy wannabe that seems more like a mod to an existing paradox title than its own game.

At first this game was about nothing but mana; the waiting for numbers to go up based on the player's ruler and council. Then it was updated to be based around money and waiting.

But one thing still stands. It's like a simplistic Europa Universalis IV with a roman theme with simplistic Crusader Kings 2 character interactions. Strangely enough we got issues that were also originally in those Paradox titles that were later fixed. Such as random countries joining in mid war because of alliances one can form in the middle of a war which is no longer a thing in EU4 for a reason. It's been almost half a year since the release of IMPERATOR ROME and I don't see any taste or difference between playing the Roman Empire or a random kingdom in southern India. Very bland. It's like licking marble.
