There is a very vocal segment of the Destiny community that hates the game. They look back over the years to Destiny 1 and somehow think that it was a perfect, perfect game and then it progressed and grew and had a sequel and now they all hate it and blame the ill fit of their nostalgia glasses on something called New Lights.

That's you, the new player that they will be too lazy to try to teach and will think you're muddying the waters. To hell with them. Its a good game and it has a great story. The controls are tight and snappy and its just fun to run around and play. I don't PvP so ... I don't know ... maybe that area needs some love but if you're looking for a open world FPS with great gameplay this is the best out there.
