super fun gameplay, carries similar energy as the movies, brilliantly setup and driven story and characters
absolutely loved playing it overall, the visuals are cool and environment is well built
played with controller and it felt nice

encountered 2 game-breaking bugs (: in general it was clear there are some parts of system poorly written but in the end it worked out and I finished the game happy :D

The game is addicting.
Like for real. I didn't sleep one night just to play this game and I was going to work the next day xD

It's surprisingly difficult, but I really liked all the story which by the way is HUGE. The sign of that is couple of spelling mistakes in English, but it's all cool :D

The difficulty comes from life's realistic struggles and idea that you always have cost of alternatives.
When you play mode with no indication of how will decision impact your character or environment it's really interesting. Even with all the stats plainly declared it's hard to prepare for "late game" if you don't know what the late game is.

The replay potential is somewhat limited. The worst is probably not implemented skipping of text you've already seen so you end up mashing arrow and clicking until the decision.
There are still many paths to explore, don't get me wrong. But it becomes hard when the game save system is implemented with overriding functionality which kinda sucks. I really wish it was programmed better so I could enjoy exploring the mentioned paths.

What I would change 100% is how real life like game play is displayed throughout the game. You can't chose different options, but they're still visible which is confusing and shouldn't be the case. If you don't meet requirements to do action then you don't see it. As simple as that. To keep curiosity you might use something like '3 more choices' or whatever.

Similarly to that comment I have one problem which is not filtered chapter outcomes when you obviously can't achieve different options. I mean outcomes as displayed in "destiny" menu. This is frustrating when replaying the game.

Otherwise it's great. Simple, but super enjoyable and I recommend checking it out. Just be more responsible than me with time management, because it's basically an interactive book which you want to finish as you're curious what's coming next :D

I've played career, not fancy a multiplayer in car games.

Was looking for a FlatOut experience kind of so I might have been presumptuous.
First of all the game is rather well made. Graphics are good and environment works well.

Now - I recommend the game, BUT.. (ye that's a big fat BUT)
..but game has severe flows in destruction algorithms, races design and lacks effort in challenges level which are just one challenge to be fair.

To elaborate:
I would really like the game to contain more real crash content and challenges that explore the physics that are nicely done. That's a shame that this aspect is so one dimensional.

Races aren't too interesting and destruction is it's doom - ironically.
*I spend most races watching Netflix on second monitor* - seriously. If you turn on realistic damage 95% if not all your AI opponents will crash before the finish line while 60% of them won't even complete first lap. You can spend another 5 laps racing against yourself or crash into the wall - as you should.
Further more - AI difficult levels don't f-ing differ. I don't know how was that a problem to implement, because the behavior of the AI I feel like is done greatly and it's much fun to mess around with it.

Last but NOT LEAST: damage system is actually bad.
It works nice but not in the way it should. I don't claim to know anything about cars, but in such game the damage algorithm should be rewarding and instead it's punishing - which arguably is the biggest flow of the game. It doesn't encourage you to take risks - it's ALMOST NEVER worth it.
I mean it's such a mistake for the game like this it feels unexcusable.

For what it's worth I played a good amount of hours and I can't say it doesn't have good moments, but if you really want just FlatOut experience then you are up for a disappointment.

I've watched couple years back like 3 different let's-plays and still enjoyed the game with approach that differed in details. Mechanically enjoyable, on hard difficulty too. Well designed story, characters and environment. Pretty much almost perfect in all major aspects of the game. There are some flaws in some of the micro-interactions / dialogues in the story, but since it's so advanced in terms of branching I wouldn't discredit the game. It's amazing. More games like this, please :D

I will start off with an info that I love this game and so I recommend it to anyone who seeks some action and cool driving mechanics.

I've been playing on game pad so far and I must admit that the further into the game (I play on pretty realistic settings with any helpers off) the more game punishes you for not having steering wheel or pedals.

If you don't want to lose your freaking mind then I suggest not playing for 3 stars in every story event with same setup as mine.
Of course I've been annoyed by random AI on the road during some of the events because to get 3 stars in some you need be pretty accurate and the worst feeling ever to be at the highest speed possible, getting into the curve just right, and meeting the front of the AI car.. xD

I haven't played multiplayer because I'm old-style solo car games kind of guy. And I'm enjoying it a lot.
..but it seems to be pretty multiplayer oriented anyway so don't get your hopes up. There is no story line if you expected one.

I feel this game also suffers from some kind of off-road mainstream as the normal racing is basically limited to one events chain whereas off-road is basically main thing for everything. There still are some cool streets to race though, so that's okay.

Skills system is f-ing bad. I mean it's not satisfying, getting points and streaks means nothing to me. I feel almost insulted by how the system works. No, drifting is apparently not the way to go, just f-ing smash things around, jump couple of times, smash things, do a 180 and repeat. Also have I mentioned smashing things is important?

Overall I believe the game is nice, there are a lot of cars and a lot of fun, but I see significant flaws in game systems and also - which because of the scale of the game is quite obvious - level design on a lot of races. There are community ones so that's sorting this issue out a bit.

Buy on a special price. Not full. Especially now that there is Forza Horizon 5 on the way :)

Annoying, frustrating gameplay.
Main character which you're supposed to be playing is probably the worst person alive. And you can't change it.
Forced thoughts, weird, meaningless choices. Kudos for making one decision instantly ending the game (!sic), it's probably for the best.
It hurts my brain just comparing this visual novel to others so I won't.
Visually okay for static images, but animations are quite bad.
Story is so f-ed up you can't enjoy relatively normal parts of it. ON MY *FIRST PLAY-THROUGH* I JUST WENT ON SKIPPING ON ♥♥♥♥ BECAUSE IT WAS THAT BAD. I don't judge, but please at least let me make a choice not to be an immoral (in my view) character, damn it. I couldn't care less about what characters said. Cliche in every possible point of the plot.

If I were to recommend this game in the future I would need to see a lot of work done in terms of plot routing in the early stages. It would be even okay to skip a lot of potential content to get to the other story paths that you're interested in.
You can be weird but make it optional so it doesn't hurt vast majority of potential players.

Playing with friends is super fun, game isn't perfect but I enjoy playing it very much.

Obviously one of the best games ever. Always great coming back to start over and experience something new. Some quest are a little tedious at times but manageable. Main story is alright. Fighting system is good, not counting multiple exploits you can use va AI. Map is well designed, a bit glitchy, but pretty. Some paths of character development (skills) are seriously busted. Some are too easy to master, some are barely possible on the other hand. Makes no sense, but main traits are okay.

Great story, awesome story-telling. Very well done gaming experience. Astonishing acting.
You will be amazed.

Absolutely worth playing. Amazing interactive story. From technical point of view I'd say a masterpiece. Great pleasure interacting with the environment. Story wise a bit short, but has a lot of paths. Being short it's hard to develop more connection with the main character, Erica. Not mentioning developing connections as Erica with other characters. The pacing is alright although I still believe there is not much going on. At the end you don't really care about those characters which could have been setup a bit better.

So there is room for improvement but this doesn't change that it's a must-watch/play. Acting is great. The visuals are awesome and overall it's designed very well to work interactively. I'm impressed.

The replay potential is kinda there but this is not so satisfying. The first play is really important in terms of weather you like the game in the end or not. I played through 3 times and it already felt a bit too much since you can't really skip anything as this is an interactive movie, duh. It's nice design, but I wouldn't force it on player in the next play-throughs.

I wouldn't suggest it for people that are here only for the story. It's okay, but go watch some movie instead. If you care about different endings and interactivity then come and play.
