Brings back the memory of VC1 nicely.

Too bad DLCs are not bundled and never discounted.

Like most Telltale games, your choice doesn't really matter that much. But it didn't stop me from enjoying the game.

The story is just as good as other Telltale games. The characters and the humor really fit the Borderlands atmosphere. However, it is the cinematic intro of each episode that leave a mark for me. The intro music is so impeccable! I don't remember any other games where I said to myself during opening intro "Holy crap! This intro is so good" and make me look forward for the intro of the next episode.

No wonder they say that this is (arguably) the best Telltale game ever.

I'm sure you can find a lot of reviews explaining just how good Divinity Original Sin Enhanched Edition is. But let me highlight what I think make this game so enjoyable for me: exceptional degree of freedom + tactical turn based battle

Use your skill almost everywhere, everytime, manipulate the environment, kill almost every NPC, multiple ways to solve the quest, split your party to solve puzzle out of the box. While there are other games that offers similar degree of freedom, Divinity: OS EE battle mechanics goes along very well with it giving you almost unlimited array of tactical options.

I look forward for mod support to be implemented in the enhanched edition.

Took me beyond 85 hours to finish a single campaign mode, which is impressive!

The game itself is very complex in terms of decision possibilities. The story is very deep and intriguing with hundreds of lore. I haven't even touched the expansion and content packs outside the one integrated with the main campaign. The voice acting is awesome! Probably one of the best.

If you want to bring out the best of this game, do not forget to use some mods. Here is the list of mods I used in my 1st playthrough.

- Improved Atmosphere
- JB Texture
- Dragon Age Redesigned
- Realistic Look
- Natural Body
- Faster Combat
- Lock Bash
- Morrigan Restoration Pack
- Personal Annoyance Remover

I got this in summer sale for $7.49. I tell you it is totally worth it!

The last few patches has made it harder for me to recommend this game to new players. It is sad to see the game I like went to the wrong direction.

While the game is becoming more polished and the developer keep pushing new contents, they are making bad business decisions by nerf-ing default ship, make it harder to farm money, and 'adjusting' trial mechanism. This goes against my old review where I believe this game has a good F2P model. It is becoming harder for non-spender to enjoy the game to the fullest.

Nevertheless, I suggest you give it a try; it is not so bad if you are willing to spend some dollars. I may change my review if they come up with 'friendlier' business model in the future.

OLD REVIEW:

I have played this game since Beta Season.

I'm a fan of turn based strategy games and have played a lot of these games for years. I can see that this is a great game.

The mechanics is very well thought. There are some minor balance issue but it is addressed with every patch. The dev is very active in the forums and listen to user suggestions.

This game will be Free to Play with in-game purchase (still paid games at the times of writing) but I'm sure new players can compete with veteran without having to shell out any money. You will get three rotating champions and some money to buy a new hero as you start which is good enough to take on any players. The default ship is arguably the most flexible ship in the game, good in any arena.

Batman: Arkam City truly lives to its Game of the Year title. A proper sequel of the previous Batman: Arkham Asylum. Arkham City has better aesthetic and gameplay execution. It also adds more gadgets which is pretty cool. The open world concept that is Arkham City also fits perfectly into the game.

There are a lot of things to do in Arkham City beside following main storylines. You get tons of sidequest including the good ol Riddler throphy.

I also love it that I got to play using Catwoman and Robin/Nightwing so you are not stuck with Batman throughout the game.
