I never played this type of RPG before or any games by Larian Studios, so I was very surprised to enjoy this game so much.

My best description of this game, without spoilers, is that it’s like Dragon Age 2 or Inquisition at first glance. But you quickly find out it has the depth of something like New Vegas and a genuinely engaging story. The combat reminds me of that one Final Fantasy game on PS2, and you move around by pointing and clicking like League, which made me hesitant at first. But honestly, it’s pretty good and gives off a strong board-game feel.

dont be a fool, this is definitely not a lame man's rpg game. it has everything i wanted from dragons dogma 1, and you can go full rogue straight from the get go instead of a dex class with some archery mixed and low dps. The story is pretty vanilla but theres is still so much soul baked in underneath that it doesnt even matter, and the gameplay is just so chef's kiss muwah ahh mmm eugh om e-mom aram.
Plane and simple, if you are someone that prefer third person rpgs with true soul over the generic sandbox games that has everything so accessible thats being puked out post new vegas era, this is a must buy.

I just think its so overrated. There are so many fighting games that are more fun, with more expansive and diverse rosters, and just so much more design and customization options available without dlcs. In this, the base roster of characters is so small and limited, and they all share this similar character design of like abusing synthol injections and steroids. And what's worse is they can't even give you one more additional costume to choose from for free. You have to pay to just have like a second costume for just one character in this game, like what?! What is this?! HUH?! Truly the modern warfare of competitive fighting games to date, so overrated
