Fun in theory, but it has so many problems that make it a garbage game for newer players. The tremendous wait times in between games (usually around 2 minutes) makes it very annoying to get back into the action, especially if you're dropping popular places to try to gain experience. It is incredibly obnoxious waiting 2 minutes for the next game after dying in the first 30 seconds. The next thing is desynchs. I'm constantly getting cheesed out by players shooting and killing me before they're even into view (FPP), and it really adds salt to the wound when I'm waiting 2 minutes in between games. It's like playing Call of Duty except with 2 minute respawn times. Another thing I have a problem with is the sound. While anyone can get used to it after enough exposure, I feel like it's not natural in a way that makes sense to newer players. I find it difficult determining where the sounds are coming from (either gunshots or footsteps) and the HRTF sound setting doesn't make a difference (at least for my headphones). All in all, the greatest disappointment for me is the wait times. I can deal with all the other issues if I can actually get into games fairly quickly. The sounds might be weird, and the desynch might get me killed every once in a while, but I would much rather be able to get back into a game after 30 seconds. I know that many people reading this review may think to themselves "You're just bad, play and get good," and you're right, but the problems I mentioned may be a big uninstall for a lot of newer players. Otherwise, the game is alright, even though it has a niche playstyle and gunplay. My suggestion would be to reduce the match start countdown from 1 minute to 10-20 seconds.
