Been playing Guilty gear since i was a tween back on PS1. I've played every version from the classic to that terrible Guilty Gear Isuka. I have to say this is the BEST one I've played since GG X2/Accent Core.

Pros:
Mechanics are solid, Gameplay is fun, characters are over the top and creative and it even has full cross platform support! Feels familiar to the older games, but has enough different to keep it interesting unlike the previous GG. I can see why so many people are playing this fighter and why its 3rd in EVO this year (2024).

They also announced a new season for next year so it will at least have full support with new characters coming in for 2025.


Cons:
Every additional characters are purchase only. No unlocking them through gameplay (but that's every fighting game now days sadly). Same goes for additional color variations for characters.

I also wish there were more arcade modes. All it has is the local VS, Survival mode, and classic arcade. Wish it had additional challenge modes like they use to do for the older 2D Guilty Gear's. Heck even Mortal Kombat 11 had daily and weekly challenge modes that also allowed co-op/tag matches. Especially since the story mode is strictly cinematic and no gameplay (which is the style of this studio), it NEEDS more solo modes.


Over all (and cause I got this on sale for 20$), Its a very strong 8 out of 10 for me.

I'll be playing this one for a LONG time.... well that or until the online dies.

AN AMAZING 10 out of 10 game that is made frustrating by confusing DLC packs. I already own the series on console and thought to pick it up on sale on PC since my PS4 broke recently. Happy for the deal, but annoyed at how badly they chopped up all the content for this masterclass of a game.

If your going to buy this, Just save your money up and buy the full "Mega Ultra Definitive GOTY Gold Master Edition" (or whatever they want to call it now) that has all the content in it. Cause buying this in parts with all the random prices and packs with missing maps just feels like a rip off.

It's Ok. Not as good as the first. Didn't care much for the level design.

It's a 6 out of 10 for me.

One of my most favorite Souls-borne games out there. like the mechanics, world, sci-fi theme and more. it can be bit glitchy sometimes and enemy placement can be odd, but its great otherwise.

The good: Good game. Loved the gameplay loop and the nemesis system is awesome! Also the excessive grind and predatory micro transactions have been removed due to fan outcry.

The Bad: Still a bit grindy, endings are unsatisfying, quests to unlock ending are a bit bland too.

Over all, give it a 8 out of 10.

I LOVE this Mafia game! Love the story, Love the characters, the amazing animation in the cut-scenes, the setting and most of all its nice to have a awesome black male lead in a game that's not a walking stereotype.

I had already played and beat the game on Playstation and saw it on sale for PC. My system is broken so i thought "hey, Mafia 3 on sale with all DLC for 5$ on steam, why not?!" However, I would say the PC version of the game isn't the best. Makes no sense that a game that came out around 2015-ish would have this poor of a PC port. The main issue is the controller support. Thanks to the new steam controller system it runs better, but it still has some issues with sensitivity int he setting. If your planing on playing with mouse and keyboard, you shouldn't have any issues. But if your like me and enjoy sitting back and playing games like this on a controller, be ready to take some time to get it set up.

Overall, with all the DLC (and modding to help with the lack of PC updates), this is still a good game. The Mission/Quest set up is very grindy, but if you can look past it, there is an amazing revenge story here. One that shows the 60s from the perspective of a black man (and other minorities) dealing with violence, racism and oppression of rich greedy men who refuse to change. So scared of losing they're power that they're willing to destroy anyone in they're way to keep it.

I LOVE the fallout series but this game runs like hot garbage. cant run in borderless windows, is lacking tons of configurations that are standard for pc gaming, and is horribly optimized. Unless you run mods from nexus I might as well be playing this on a playstation. They obviously made tis game for console first and just ported it to pc. I feel like i wasted my money honestly.

Its like Hitman but with a sniper riffle. Absolutly LOVE IT!

Amazing. It starts to get dull neer the end of the second act of the story but boy does it twist and turn into something pretty damn shocking and amazing. Theres no turning back once the blood has been spilt.

DO NOT GET THE STARTER EDITION! it slows down XP progression and unlocking characters and weapons takes more time. Its a good game, but the starter version is pointless. Yes my account says i have less then 8 hours of play, but ive played for countless hours on console. I LOVE THIS GAME, but the PC "starter Edition" is a waste of money and time. Get the full game or the season pass game.
