I have owned SDV for years and every year, I am drawn back in like an addict, finding myself playing this game on any of the devices I own a copy. You see, I love this game so much, I have four copies of this game and have bought countless others for friends so they could understand why I love this game so much. It's not just the soundtrack or the days that always seem so short, it's not just getting to name your animals and watch them grow. It's not even just the stories of the towns folk as you watch their cut scenes and get to know them over time. It's everything. SDV is a comfort at times when I need silly little jumping sprites to cheer me up and a friend on days I find myself feeling lonely. It's a way to feel like you're important to a small town where you constantly help others out. You are a newcomer to a place that welcomes you more the longer you're around. As the days get shorter in real life, I find myself either at the computer, or on my switch, growing crops, killing slimes, and running around a town that feels like home. I would always recommend this game to others and truly enjoy little else more than I enjoy playing Stardew Valley with friends.
