Despite owning multiple Nancy Drew games, I am not a hardcore fan of Nancy Drew, as I cannot bring myself to finish any games. But this game is different. I love the free movements instead of the traditional method in previous games. The story is okay -- not so good, but not so bad. I agree with a few reviews that I found myself clueless about what the next steps would be. Hence, I had to look up solutions on the internet from time to time. Overall, this is a decent game. I might be interested in future installments if they move forward with this approach.

I really enjoyed the game, especially compared to the demo I had tried before. While the demo sparked my interest, it didn't fully convince me to buy the full game. However, after reading the reviews following its release, I decided to take a chance. I noticed that the released game had significant improvements, making the experience of completing repetitive tasks much more enjoyable – not the dreadful feeling I experienced during the demo. The story is now more structured and makes sense. I also appreciate the secret achievements which encourage me to fully explore the areas. I highly recommend this game.

It is an adorable game with plenty of possibilities to replay. This game is suitable for kids to play.

This game is short as it includes only one case to solve which takes less than two hours to complete. The art is pretty adorable. However, the possibility of replaying is very slim. Great game if you want to take a break from other AAA games.

This game is a step up from the First Cases, but nothing would justify the cringe it gives. The movement is lagging as Poirot constantly makes walking movements when he is right in front of the object that needs to be examined. The "next steps" (or current objectives) are quite confusing as not all to-do objectives are there to follow. There is no quick key for highlighting hotspots, which makes it even harder to figure out what I miss clicking to proceed. Purchased it while on sale. It would not be worth the full price.

I was overwhelmed with the quality, gameplay, and story structured of Sherlock Holmes: Crime and Punishment, but ever since the switch of story line in Chapter One, I was left unsatisfied. In the previous gameplay (before Chapter One), disguises play an impressive role in how the NPCs will interact and whether or not to be able to proceed with the story. But as Chapter One hit, and then this Awakened, disguises feels a little bit unnecessary and unimpressive, and was used very minimal throughout the gameplay. Though still hold hope after Chapter One, Awakened has finally shattered my expectation. The side quests are very boring, the main quests are lack of brain teasing elements. Most of the time I spent watching cut scenes instead. I am very uncertain on the future of this series.

The most well-written story in the series, fully packed with actions. No more hallucination or dissociative identity disorder, just a game with pure actions.

I am not sure if I should love or hate this game. This game approaches Sherlock Holmes in his early life in a brand new way, with a different style of investigation and combat compared to previous Sherlock games. It also distinguishes the side and main quests. However, I feel like the side quest investigation is somewhat shallow and repetitive. I also hate how some cases do not have a clear answer of who is the murderer (i.e., no right or wrong accusation). I am not sure how profiling minor characters would contribute much to the investigation process (i.e., would choosing the other profile change the whole conversation for minor characters?). I am between love and hate, but I do recommend this game for its refreshing approach.

This game is mediocre. Compare to the previous game: ABC murder, this game is not impressive. The lack of animation and the addition of RPG conversation box make the game less interesting to me. Would get it on sale and have low expectation for it.

Love it, and cannot wait for the release. I felt a bit unconformable with the control, but that did not the game play experience tremendously. Renovating and renting out an apartment was absolutely on point. I hope the full version allows landlords to own multiple properties at the same time and have a full experience of being THE landlord - not a contractor going around renovating houses for 80% of the game.
