100% Pure Digital Ecstasy

Everyone you love will die or get mind controlled by Sectoids and try to kill you but you can always reload your last save. Unless you play in Ironman mode then everyone will die but you can always make new friends. Right?

If you like card games and rogue likes this is the ultimate mash up of the genres.

Not quite sure how I feel about it yet. Better keep playing to find out. EDIT: It has a few flaws but overall is really really really fun.

Pros: Everything else about this game is flawless. Stranger Things style intro to get you pumped up. Slow building tension as you get closer to your "goal" driven by a need to know what's gonna happen next. I didn't want to learn Morse code but by episode 3 you're pretty damn committed to finding out what the hell is going on. I thought that was gonna be the most frustrating part of the game but damn... I was wrong.

Cons: The feeling of regret and sadness when it's over.

A very unique horror sandbox puzzle game where each level is a different style of horror film (Friday the 13, House of 1000 Corpses, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Alien) and has different gameplay. Some elements are randomized so you get a little different experience each playthrough. Most fun is had ignoring your objective, stripping naked, and chasing people with a chainsaw. 10/10

Just beat the game for the first time and I was blown away. It was like playing A Link To The Past for the first time, so many secrets to discover and replayability is a huge bonus. Random map depending on your save name, items unlocked in a random order, and the ability to combine items with elements in different combinations makes each new game a new experience. 10/10 just get it
