Valve has abandoned this game, and the community seems to have finally had enough. I myself really don't enjoy games overrun by bots, and I don't enjoy Sniper ruining this game in general. I don't enjoy the constant cancer-maxxing that this game encourages players to do currently. I don't fancy Valve raping F2P accounts either, as it arbitrarily gatekeeps new players from enjoying the game, and makes the game OBJECTIVELY PAY TO WIN. At it's peak, TF2 can be one of the most fun experiences you can get in a videogame. At its worst though? It is genuinely insufferable, which is unfortunately what 90% of matches are anymore. Casual or Community server, it doesn't matter. Race to the bottom.

I tried giving this game a fair chance, as a history lesson. I wanted to see where the basis for the gameplay of New Vegas came from. Needless to say, this game was a massive disappointment. Unfulfilling gameplay loop comprised of shooting super tanky enemies with very basic fps mechanics, all while shooting up stimpaks. The story of this game is total garbage, unsurprising coming from a Bethesda game. If you haven't played this game or New Vegas, just play New Vegas instead. Even with all the bugs, that game is still leagues better than this wreck.

This is possibly the best RPG ever made, it is a real, true RPG through and through. REAL roleplaying. The game is buggy, and is prone to crashes, so if you ever play it I would recommend installing mods and fixes, but it is definitely an impressive feat of a game, especially seeing how it was only made in 13 months. Good stuff.

It's just a slightly worse version of the original Half-Life. It wasn't even bad enough to make fun of it, it's just slightly worse than the original game. Don't waste your time with this, just play the OG.

I recommend this game purely for those who wish to have a fun game, not people who expect a remake of the original Half Life. This is a good game. It is NOT a good Half Life 1 remake, in fact, it is absolutely horrible at being a remake. It tries to make the original Half Life 1 map designs that it uses play like Half Life 2, and if it isn't doing that, is just copying Half Life 2. Don't even get me started on Xen. It's just as bad as the original Xen, but for entirely different reasons. The original was an unpolished, horrible disaster, but at least it was painfully short. Xen in Black Mesa is long, drawn out, confusing, and buggy. Oh lord, is it buggy. I got softlocked multiple times in Xen, destroying my entire save file in the process. The game as a whole fundamentally misunderstands what made the original Half Life so (mostly) good. Let me reiterate though; this is a good game. It is just a bad remake of Half Life. It is a good game on it's own merits, but fails to be the remake it wanted to be.

Still the best Half-Life experience to date.

This game has been in sharp decline since 1.4. I have been playing this game since launch, and have seen it become great before it became bad. Current Terraria is a far cry in terms of quality from what it was 7 years ago. The new additions are either pointless at best, or game harming at worst. Deerclops as a boss is bad and adds nothing, but at least it's a side thing. Forcing boss progression in prehardmode is a horrible change that makes the best part of the game fall in line with the WORST part of the game. That's just one example. I cannot recommend this game to anyone who doesn't want their time wasted anymore, the devs hate this game and don't even want to work on it anymore. They make fun of their fans for wanting removed content back, and then end up going back and re-adding some of that content because they are creatively bankrupt. These people used to care, and they used to have passion. No longer. Both the game and the devs are soulless husks of themselves. Don't buy this game, play an older version if possible through some other means, so you can at least have a good experience.

I love the battle system mechanics and the Sans battle really puts your skills to the test. I don't worship this game like some people do, but it really is a great RPG and if you're reading this review, you should give it a try.

The music is great but there's one problem... I can't open the soundtrack, it just puts me on Portal Stories: Mel. I've listened to the music in other places and i must say, it's REALLY good. So if you know how not for this to happen than definately get this mod for a mod!
