This is certainly a game of all time. If anything, it made me realize I need to make better choices. The problem is that I didn't come back a second time to make the right choice, because, well, I didn't like the game... but it was quite the trip. Thanks for that, I guess.

But hey, it's free!!!

This game has so many cool features that make it stand on its own from Elona. It has the whimsy, edgy spirit of its predecessor and it doesn't take itself too seriously. When you die in this game, you type in your last words, and it's sent to the online server for other players to read in the newspaper. That's absolutely brilliant.

Also, if you wanted something a bit like the new Animal Crossing, it has some similarities there too. You explore the world to gather up materials for your base. Run shops and inns! To add onto the asynchronous multiplayer elements, you can also share what you've built through the online portal system and check out others' builds!

What a game. It's so unique, and like many other Japanese games, it's not afraid to be unhinged.

As a fellow pig, this was delightful. Nice balance of quirkiness and challenge. I want a polka dotted toothpick pig of my own!

A super underrated colony builder that doesn’t take itself too seriously. It has an odd yet charming sense of humor while having plenty of depth and complexity to scratch that RimWorld and Dwarf Fortress itch. I like that the game lets you build and run inns and taverns unlike similar games such as Going Medieval. I can see myself spending many more hours in this game.
One thing that really makes the game stand out from others in the genre is that you can control your Ruler character whenever you want, to see and interact with the world from their perspective. KeeperRL is another game that does something similar to this.

This is one of those VR experiences that I'd recommend everyone try. It's super mesmerizing.
I only wish that I could experience this with Quest 3's passthrough API over Link, though you can sort of do this with Virtual Desktop, just without proper composition or scene understanding. I would love to be able to see the particles collide with the walls and objects in my room.
It's super affordable and you can do so much with this beautiful particle physics sandbox.

Thought I'd leave a positive review since a bunch of negative reviews came in during the free weekend, and I genuinely enjoy this game for its polished gameplay and art style. It's a great 3D dungeon crawler with the soul of an old-school traditional roguelike, and it's even better with friends, especially now that it has proximity voice chat. It's difficult and it focuses on survival rather than hack-and-slash combat, but winning in it feels very rewarding.

This game is such a delight to play. I pre-ordered it sort of on a whim, so I could play early and see how it compares to the original Fantasy Life on the 3DS that I played very little of years ago. You don't need to have any experience with the previous Fantasy Life games to enjoy this one; it stands on its own. It's full of whimsical charm, lots of things to do, and it almost feels like multiple games in one with all of the different gameplay aspects complementing each other pretty well. I have yet to try out multiplayer, the other Lives (professions), and a bunch of things you unlock further down the line.

It's a bit like Animal Crossing if it were a JRPG and had some of the Zelda games' soul. Well worth the price with all of its content and surprises.

Great game to play while listening to some psychedelic space rock. Getting lost in the procedurally generated wonders is very enjoyable, especially when you find things with funny names. I wish the game was as optimized for PCVR as it is for PSVR; I could definitely see myself spending hours and hours in VR mode if I could play it without having to set the resolution so low.

Vuntra City is such a work of art and has a massive amount of potential with all of its procedurally-generated buildings and curiosities. I especially recommend trying it in VR and going to a sky tram station to see the entire city from high up and take a ride. I don't have a beefy rig by any means (laptop with a 3070) but the novelty and awe made it one of the best VR experiences I've ever had. It's like going on a mini vacation in a futuristic city!

For the SketchFab integration alone, it's definitely worth a try, and it's free! You can type in a keyword to select from a vast collection of 3D models to power wash, or just let it select a model completely at random for that satisfying feeling of slowly revealing the object's texture as you wash off the dirt.

Would love to try it in multiplayer with my friend who introduced the game to me.
