A Perfect Blend of Coziness and Strategy!
Seamlessly combines the best elements of deck builders, city building with a Viking/Atlantis the lost empire aesthetic. This game is an absolute gem, and if you're a fan of any of these genres, you're in for a treat!
The first thing that struck me about this game is its coziness. The devs have managed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes gaming session feel like a comforting retreat. From the charming visuals to the soothing soundtrack, everything exudes a sense of coziness.

One of the best indie games on steam, don't let the simple visuals stop you from trying this game. Very impressive, fun and complex.

Good job to all the students who worked on this game! It is a wonderful achievement, I had alot of fun discovering the stunning environments, looking at the absolutely adorable mammoths and sending the little cavemans flying was very satisfying. The narration was also a nice touch.

Armello is a strategy game with some unusual elements. Each game is rather fast-paced and well balanced, the gameplay had just enough chance to be surprising. RNG can sometimes ruin a great strategy. Love it!

The attention to detail, the narrative, the characters are real and interesting. The world is absolutely breathtaking and the game is very well optimised. The combat system is enjoyable, there is enough customisation to choose from to make V feel unique. In the 5 hours I played so far, I found the world to be captivating and I can't wait to continue my journey in night city!
Definitely the most impressive game I've come to play so far!

I really hoped this product would be worth it's price. It's not. it's hard to use and really doesn't work well with limited palettes. Definitely not worth 29$.

This beautiful and fun RTS proves that sometimes, less is more. Also, this game had very good art direction, everything looks good together, the palette is great, the assets have been tought to be re usable, etc. Great game!

I never got to play this game when it initially came out on ps3, but this game is a solid puzzle-platformer with an interesting and revelant storyline. It is definitely worth trying out!

In this universe, we are in 1895, an epidemic turned Louisiana into a post-apocalyptic world. Our characters are headhunters, committed to fight in the heart of corruption. You will need to investigate to find the various clues scattered across the map to locate the boss or bosses that you must kill to fulfill your contract. To access the clues, you will have to navigate through hordes of monsters all more friendly and cute than others, it is possible to go unnoticed but slowly or to adopt a faster strategy, killing hordes of monsters but revealing your position to other hunters competing for the same contract as you. At the beginning of the game, ten hunters solo or in teams of two enter the hunting territory, all adopt different strategies, some will try to kill the boss and escape with the loot and others will wait until another team is doing the dirty work to ambush them and leave them with the reward. Where players' opinions of the game differ the most is that death is permanent. Certainly, a teammate can revive you without time constraint but once the two hunters of a certain team are dead, you lose your hunter and must recruit a new one from a list generated randomly. A new hunter returns to level 1 with a new loadout and skills. Personally, although this aspect of the game has cooled me at first, this decision of the developers although risky, makeus you weigh the pros and cons of each battle and do not expect to succeed in leaving a match (winner or not) the first times. The game is relatively difficult but really addictive and fun, it seems that the way we play evolves and adapts after each game. The developers are very attentive to the community, the updates are frequent and for an early access game, I have almost never encountered any bugs affecting the quality of my experience. The visual is breathtaking even at the minimum visual settings, the artistic direction has really done a great job. Night missions and boss areas (inside very dark buildings) showcase the ingenious use of the game of light both in gameplay and visual appeal. Another aspect of the game that really made me love the game is the use of sound, it is almost essential to play with headphones because it is possible to hear the shots of other players everywhere through the map, the sounds of the different monsters, the footsteps of the other players nearby and to be able to identify the direction and the origin of the sounds in an intuitive way. Hunt Showdown is a game that will not please everyone with its difficulty and its punitive aspect but will please many others for its many qualities. In general it's a game that surprised me a lot and this game is much more fun, fluid and optimized than we are accustomed to early access. 👌😊
