Great Game. Season 2 was a great update. Playable on the Steam Deck. Looks amazing on a Steam Deck OLED with HDR.

The Christmas 2023 event was OKAY at best. Basically it just took the "blood harvest" idea of being spread out throughout the world and the mobs just constantly dropped 3 different items. Not sure why he had to be 3 different things being converted into 1 thing but it was. I dont get why they didn't just give you an event item, then you trade that item in for rewards. The christmas skins were horrible. I didn't even try to get them, I just did the event, and got the legendary aspect and just grinded for XP. The skins are that bad. Not worth it at all.

I blew through the Season 2 battle pass pretty fast (Blizzard do NOT change it though. It perfect, I dont want it being some crazy grind. I am glad I was able to finish it.) Season 2 ends in January 2024 but I can sitting here waiting for more content. I could play another class for the time being but I think rushing to another to lvl 100 is just wild and playing the same content in the game.

Season 3 is now out... and they gave you a pet, and a bunch of spells to make bigger more powerful spells. Not really that happy about the mechanics. It is kind of like companions in diablo 3. Nothing really special if you ask me. I do like the new dungeon mechanics they have like all the new traps. Of course when that is just always added in in nightmare dungeons that would make them much better. The even they had wasn't too bad I guess, I don't know the skins you were able to unlocked still look worst than what is offered in the store.The gauntlet system has been delayed 3 times now in a row. I really hate how Blizzard is drip feeding us the content now, wish it was dropped all at once. Honestly, if they did actually release a decent amount of the content every season, people wouldn't really think to stop playing as soon as they got to max level. For the most part the game didn't change much for me to want to play this season, like I did in Season 2. But there was actually things new in Season 2, and stuff I still needed to do.

Season 4 - WE ARE SOOO BACKK!!! Loot reborn was a success! Tempering items is awesome! The new Rift system is great! I am having so much fun in this season. Blizzard did a great job improving the game.

I average about 50fps with high settings and deph settings graphics turned OFF.

I have a i9-10900k, 3080ti.

It does go lower at times from 50fps, all the way to like 25fps? But it is only for several minutes.

I like the game so far, and I see all the big improvements that Colossal Order have made, but I need to give this a no for if I can recommend this game. The performance is just terrible for the average consumer. You really need a top of line machine to get the best framerate.

Buy this game "now" if you have lots of cash, and your okay with waiting long for performance improvements. But honestly, I remember Cities 1 running iffy too at launch, and even till this day, comparing the two, it doesn't run amazing. I think the highest framerate I can even go on a beginner city is like max 80 fps. I really think that Cities 1 only runs better because the PC hardware is only better these days. I am sure Colossal Order probably did some optimizations to Cities 1 but I really don't think it was as much as many people think. That game came out in 2015, my PC is not even going above 100fps in cities 1 on max settings.

Will see what happens with Cities 2, but it's the squeal and seems to be going in the right direction.

On Steam Deck with the lowest settings I averaged about 20 FPS on a city that had a population of 350.

Once I see that the performance has improved, I will update my review.

Disgaea is Diablo for SRPGs, your constantly getting different gear, going through randomly generate and non-generate maps, and just getting stronger everytime you play.

Really fun story. I love the huge giant moves you can do with your characters. The story took me about 20 hours to beat, but I still have so much to play. Really good game. Kind of a Diablo SRPG game.

Runs amazing on the Steam Deck, and is a perfect steam deck game if you own one. I been playing the game on the Steam Deck without ANY issues. It just runs. I did notice some frame time dips, but its just here and there, nothing to really complain about. All my buttons and triggers work, everything just works. I think Disgaea, the way it is made, makes it the series the best to play on Steam Deck.

Everyone complaining about the DLC are being forgetful. Every modern Disgaea game had DLC (that you had to pay extra for). The only difference this time is that they went up in price like every other game. I don't like paying $100 for the whole game so I didn't.

I love the new jumbification system, its neat to see your character get super big and powerful and just one taps everything on the level.

The item reincarnation system is very nice. I like how the tree is displayed within the item, so it gives you a sense of what the item was in the beginning to the end of the tree. It is RNG, so sometimes you might not get a better "rank" item, but your stats will always go up regardless, so I think the system is still isn't bad.

The Online A.I. Battles is a cool neat little feature, but that is basically it. You just take your characters and fight other people's character but its all just auto fights. It doesn't add much to the game, but its nice to have it I guess. You do get rewards of course, but its the least used feature by me at the moment. (other games did have this feature in some way or another)

Netherworld Sightseeing is a new feature where you can visit the map you just played on. By using this feature you can get more quests, and do more more fights for XP. It's basically more ways to get XP, nothing here to make the player mad, only happy.

They changed the way how the Demonic Intelligence system works. This is basically the system where the A.I. will play for you (aka auto battles/mobile games). You can adjust how the character will play and everything, there is really a lot of settings. I didn't dip too much into the settings, because at default it seems to work just fine. But you do need Poltergas for auto battles. This can be obtain by doing story levels constantly, very easy to obtain honestly. In the beginning of using this feature you'll have to fast foward through the animations, but eventually the dark assembly will allow you to actually just skip through a whole battle like how some mobile games do it for you. A prompt would come up at the end of one auto battle completed, then it will allow you to skip the battle as many times as you would like. I have no issues with auto battling in this game. I think its pretty balance for the most part. You can't use it in the item world, which I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing, because you will spend A LOT of time in there.

Max character level in this Disgaea game is 9,999.

There have been several different releases of Disgaea and this one does still do team attacks, and lifting of characters on your head. But you cannot do any tower attacks that you can find in Disgaea 5. I don't think it hurts Disgaea 7 not including this feature, it just takes some of the level of complexly out of it, and I guess just makes less ways to play.

Hell mode this is another character feature that they pretty much had in other games but just called something else. Not much to say about it other than it does make your character stronger and makes you feel awesome kicking enemies's butts.

pretty bad... the factory is like a trap (the beginning part of the game) and you will literally bleed cash randomly and have no idea how because the game doesn't even have a financial window There is no way telling why your money is bleeding. How is a tycoon game missing a financial is beyond me.

edit: 10/25/2023 - They finally added the financial tab, but I uninstalled the game and now I noticed the game does not have Steam Cloud. So, if you have multiple computers that you play on and a Steam Deck... then your out of luck! Why are all the most basic most needed features missing from this game?

Besides that, I won't play this game till Steam Cloud feature is added. I have too many devices and constantly uninstalling and reinstalling programs where... I will literally need to backup my files which is something I shouldn't need to do in the year of 2023. I can't even play my saved games on my steam deck without hassle. This is not acceptable.

Performance is all over the place. If you use the Nvidia upscaler, it does seem to improve on frame rate. I use it on balance. I noticed that not all maps run terribly on my PC. The first heist in the game seems to be the most unoptimized map. On ultra the game gives or takes runs usually over 100fps. There are times if the map is some what unoptimized I can fall lower near 80fps. I do think the fps average is all over the place for this game. The engine doesn’t seem to be optimized. If you’re not using the upscaler, your frame rate is much lower than 100fps. It’s like required to use, and that isn’t right, that means some isn’t optimized in the engine.

There is no voice chat. You will have to type of your messages while being shot at the enemy.

There is no lobby listing browser, similar to how it was in payday 2. They called this system crime net. This is better over the matchmaking system because you can see all the VERY HARD lobbies instead of just queuing for one and waiting for someone to join. Lobby listing makes it better for the player because you can easily change games already playing.

They did just recently added two legacy maps. I really enjoy the cook out map because you just chill and farm kills and xp. Reminds me of payday 2 of course, and it really feels good. I like the improvements they made on the map. The train legacy map I don’t care much for because it’s all stealth but it’s still a good map regardless.

I do enjoy the weapon unlocks. I always did in the payday games. I like all the customization options you have, paint jobs and scopes, silencers all types of things you can do and unlock. There is a lot of sense of progression.

The character customization isn’t bad either. I really like the jogger sweatsuit that they added. Really reminds me of the UK gang culture with Nike techs. Very nice touch. The masks this time around really do look nice with the better graphics. You can customize them just like in payday 2. There are gloves in the game that you can buy from a selection as well. I hope they keep innovating on the way they can create the masks. I think some animated masks are cool, but you don’t want to go over board with them.


The devs have announced that if your friend does NOT own the DLC you can still invite them to play with you. They just can’t host the new maps. I am glad they kept this system from payday 2.

It is cross play with the consoles, which honestly, I haven’t had any issues with. I am glad they did that because there are more people to play with then.

My Rant I posted on the internet on 1/17/2024

At this point I’m just pissed off. I bought the edition with the DLC and they got my money. They keep talking ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and literally the only thing in the game is DLC people have to buy. The game doesn’t even have a server browser to find games but they will add a new heist even though is hard enough to find the correct difficulty server and how many people are in the server.

I’m sick and tired of joining empty games. If we had a server browser that whole issue would be resolved. I don’t care if sometimes I play at a lower difficulty, I will make that choice myself. But it’s very annoying going into games with no one or just 1 person and some bots.

Like seriously, devs just start listening to us and put the QoL updates out then do the DLC later.

Regardless, till I start seeing changing your damn right I’ll be keeping my bad reviews everywhere. Ya’ll don’t deserve anything till we see a change. I’m sure if they were the ones that lost money they would be as pissed off as me because the game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it’s beyond me how the designer or whoever thought crime.net was ♥♥♥♥ and not included in payday 3 isn't fired yet.

This was my favorite coop shooter on PC. It is crazy how they are so irresponsible with their highest profit series. Seriously, it’s human nature to protect the bread winner at all means. This company literally just doing the complete opposite. Like I am so hurt and angry 😤 I can keep typing things but no words describe how pissed off I am.

I have to change my review from negative to positive. The game has the server browser now, VOIP across all platforms, you can create a party and join a game together with you friend. I am not sure if they did something different to the performance but it does seem to run pretty solid (it seems to run better than before) on my 10900k, 4090. To be blunt, the game is finally in a state where they should have launch the game. It is very 1.0 feeling to it. But its finally where it should be. Its not perfect, but its 1.0 now feeling.

I would say, yes, it is time to buy it now.

Right now, you cannot play the game. They even disabled logins but they are still selling the game on Steam. It is actually really wild when you think of it. I will change my review to a yes, once they actually fixed the issues.

Update 2: 8/27/2023 - Seems like they fixed a lot of the queue issues when trying to log in for the first time. Tops I wait to log in is like a minute or two. I have times where I am getting stuck at the loading screen, then I need to ALT+F4 then restart the game.

Graphics style is a 10 out of 10 though. They look amazing.

Update 3 9/8/2023 - They gave the community some items for the server issues. The big one they gave us is a token that gives us one free wayfinder... which is really cool.

Update 4 5/15/2024 - They announce the game will be a paid coop title with no in game monetization coming June 11th 2024.

It is pretty bad. 15 mins in and the game controls are very bad and not smooth. Genshin Impact gameplay blows this game away. This looks cool, and sounds cool... till you play it.

I been playing this game since like I think it was the Alpha when they had the paintball mode (never brought it back). But GW2 is easily one of the best under rated MMOs out on the market. They have 100% have chase items, and lots of content. I been playing this off of Steam before it was released on Steam and I have at least 500 hours on the GW2 launcher.

Game is so much better compare to release. No longer is it p2w. More so pay to progress now. Give it a try now!

It's a very good game. But you probably want to play it with a Nvidia 3080 at least. I am still playing the game, but so far I am liking my experience. Will update this later on..

Performance:
Yeah this game 100% does not run well on current GPUs. I have a system with a 2080 and a system with a 3080ti. The 2080 doesn't play it as well as the 3080ti obviously, but for the most part it will be high frames.. The 3080ti (no surpise) just buries the game. On the 3080ti it is ALWAYS at 120fps for the most part there are times where it can drop a bit, but it was only a couple maps that made the frames dip really low. Wish there was a benchmark mechanic and I could give you more hard facts. I probably wouldn't recommend playing this game without a 3080 at least and I am playing with at 1080 res. It is playable, but your frame rate goes up and down so much (without the 3080 at least). I recommend buying on Steam first so you can refund it at least.

Online:
Works perfectly. But you cannot text or voice chat in the game. There is only messages you can send. As of right now 4/12/2023 there is no cross platform multiplayer as well. So, your only going to be able to play with people that own this game on Steam.

Jobs:
This game has all the base Final Fantasy jobs that you can play in their games. Each job includes a bunch of different skills and spells you can use. All which you can find in the older Final Fantasy games. Really cool, if you like a certain job with their skills then you can play them within this game.

Loot:
Lots of loot, constantly being rained on with all kinds of rarity. It feels great! The inventory kind get loaded with items but there is an item filter as well to help you. They do have some quality of life features, like select all and dismantle them for materials.

Difficulty:
Story is super easy, action is easy, and hard is perfectly tuned. If your a new player probably want to start at hard, and you can actually adjust it within game while playing.

Story:
The story isn't that bad actually, but it doesn't get good till very far into the game.
