I've been playing since 2020, and it has been my favorite game since. Behaviour is constantly updating the game by adding new killers/survivors and nerfing/buffing perks and killer powers. The player base CAN be toxic, but if you can look past that, it's a super fun game. It's like hide and seek for adults, which I think is why I love it so much (my friends never wanted to play hide and seek with me when we were kids </3).
