This is going to be a weird positive, but: this game scratches a similar itch to Factorio, without being as addictive. I sat down this morning, played for about an hour, and said - "ok, that's enough, time for chores." With Factorio, I'd still be here around 3pm, until my spouse reminded me that I need to eat.

Despite the game's focus on re-using what you have, it's very, very easy to just wipe out everything you've got so far, and start over - there's no "base" you have to rely on to build more complicated stuff. And the blueprint mechanic makes it easy to have all of those "base" factory bits at your fingertips, without welding them to the landscape.

Of course, this is all written after only four hours of playing - maybe in 12 hours, I'll look back upon these words like the scribblings of a naive child.

I have no idea how far into this game I am, but I know I'm not near the end; and already the world-building and lore is incredible, and I'm desperate to know more.
