Early Access Review
Early Access. Those two words sum up my complaints with the game so far. Far more incomplete than I first imagined and things get quickly stale. A lot of features are still missing from this game, along with much needed improvements. Other than that, what is currently present is pretty fun. Combat has been VASTLY improved over Warband's; along with with essential options for formation creation, rank delegation, combat AI, etc. Sieging castles and towns is now much more enjoyable, and the defeat of a Lord's army guarantees their capture. Character customization is now much more indepth, along with the RPG leveling system in the game. The recruiting system is now not only much better when it comes to quickly gathering grunts from villages but you can also get higher tiers depending on your relation with the notables of the village/town. Only other complaint so far that is a definite downgrade from Warband is the companion recruiting system. You're only allowed a certain small number of companions that increases by 1 for each clan level. A perk does help offset this however. The improvement system so far now excludes villages and now encompasses towns instead, much more options available and improving your engineering skill can help speed along the wait time CONSIDERABLY compared to the eternity and a half in Warband.

I still expect far more from this game, especially with the number of years I've been anticipating this game. So far though I am very satisfied with what I've seen. The fact the modding community is so active for this game even with it being newly in Early Access bodes extremely well for the modding community of this game when this finally fully releases. I can't wait
