A really entertaining game for newcomers to the soulsborne saga, it's really unforgiving in terms of gameplay, but it's less unforgiving compared to its fellows ancestors in the saga. There are a lot of choices in terms of playstyle so you can practically try everything you want. Don't forget that it's a role-playing game, so when you are leveling up pay attention to what you are putting points in and in the weapons and its scaling.

About the story, if you don't want to pay attention to it, don't worry about it at all, it's not a story-telling game, so you can go by skiping cutscenes and killing stuff. In the other hand, if you want to know what's up pay attention to location names, items descriptions and to dialogues with non-playable-characters and you will get a pretty good idea of what's happening in this tragic world. Of course that playing the first two dark souls games (the first one rather than the second one) will help with the story altogether.

The feeling of loneliness, sadness and how insignificant you are in the world it's a thrilling and challenging emotion you get when playing this game.
