EDIT 10/20: Unbanned again. SS on Steam Profile.

EDIT 9/20: Was unbanned and then rebanned 10 mins later. Check steam profile for screenshots. Been playing this game on another steam account with no problems on same PC and game install.

The game itself is decent. The endgame PVP and PVE is good. War and open world PVP is super fun. There isn't much variety in mobs, not much voice acting, story is left in the dark and forgotten, quests are grindy, and city ownership harbors a rampart RMT black market (which Amazon ignores). I spent almost 2k hours and over $500 in cosmetics during the past year. I had a good amount of fun grinding the repetitive content and rolling hundreds of gear rolls to never get what I want. The latest end game content kept this game from dieing and new expeditions and mutators added new challenges. Don't get me wrong I enjoy the game and purchased another copy to play with friends more, but am extremely frustrated as you will soon read.

Unfortunately for no reason whatsoever I got banned, which is a common occurrence. I got auto permed (for "disruptive behavior") once for exploring new servers to transfer to and creating and deleting characters too fast. Was later unbanned after submitting hundreds of tickets and waiting for months. Banned again for abusive chat for 1 day for defending myself in chat. Finally banned for "cheating" on 8/31 for updating drivers and following steps on forums (repair EAC, drivers, bios, repair game) because game kept auto closing after 10 mins. They banned me last time before I was even logged into the game. Now my 12 year perfect steam account is marked with a developer ban for their poor game and support. The appeal system is very bad. You are guilty until proven innocent and you can't provide any evidence or argument to prove innocence.

Almost every one of my friends has been banned at least once for many reasons, few I have compiled: Find an exploit = banned. Chat directly to someone anything they deem offensive even when it isn't = banned. Abuse glitches which are unfixed for months = banned. Accidentally glitch once or twice = banned. Report too many bots = banned. Create too many characters within a time period = banned. Talk about anything involving money in any context = banned. Funny thing is this game has a huge bot presence due to how profitable RMT is and I have seen bots active for months unscathed.

If you do any searches on Google you will quickly find that Amazon Game Studios themselves are horrible and unsuccessful in almost every game released. Amazon Game Studio is run by sexist frat boys (check google they have a "bro culture" at AGS) who don't care for good content or the voice of the community. Their support is outsourced to the most brain dead people. I've submitted many tickets and they always send canned "Lost Ark" messages for clear "New World" issues. If AGS ever wants to create a successful game they need to clean house of all existing employees and hire new best in class team members.
