Amazing game and tons of fun, especially if you also own 1 and have access to the Mortal Empires campaign. DLC can add up to quite a bit if you go for all of it which a lot of negative reviews cite as their sole reason, but honestly it's more than fairly priced considering the amount of time you get out of the things and the quality of the content itself. On top of that it's by no means required to play the game and CA puts out free DLC fairly regular as well.

As to the actual content of the game? If you liked WH1, you'll love WH2. It has everything from the previous game and lots more. Quality of life and interface improvements, more complex and unique faction mechanics, great voice acting, great gameplay, you name it. I have over 1000 hours so far and see absolutely no sign of slowing down, especially considering the mods available that can completely revamp and revitalize the experience as well.

If you're sitting on the fence and still unsure after reading this, pick up WH1 for a cheaper price and give that a shot. If you like it, you WILL like this one even more and get the added benefit of the ME campaign when you do pick it up.
