This game is great for the atmosphere and style. The gameplay is simple, if a bit repetitive, and the combat encounters are fairly easy even on Hard, but the developers did such a great job with atmosphere that I can't even really bring myself to complain about it. While I would hesitate to buy it full price, it's definitely worth picking up on a sale at the very least.

I've been waiting for a long time for this remaster, and I went in expecting a quick run through the same old puzzles, but not only does the game look gorgeous, but things are changed just enough to make it different. Absolutely worth the money.

When the critic reviews complain that it's too similar to the original game, you know it's a success.

Tight gameplay, solid visual style, satisfying gibs. What more could you want?

If you've played through Secret World in any capacity and have a basic grasp on the lore, the game becomes a lot more enjoyable. Otherwise, it's a fairly atmospheric walking simulator with a lot of reading and some chase segments that are fairly simple.

Probably one of the most touching and moving RPGs I've played in the last ten years. If you like getting punched in the feels, I recommend this.
