this review was originally about how the game wasn't patched up to date with origin's version. it turns out, i'm just stupid and didn't think about the fact that i had mods on my original files. whoops!

anyway it's a good game. good improvements over da2. fun gameplay and story, even if the final battle is a little anticlimatic and some builds remain stupidly powerful despite attempts at rebalancing. would recommend.
