Somehow this game is worse then DL1. Character has even less charisma and a much less compelling quest to follow even with the depressingly low bar to pass from the first game. They set me up no not want to work with ether side of the conflict and i'm assuming that's intentional the way its written.

The main antagonist is a generic, boring and wildly predictable. It frustrates me to no end to watch them always get the upper hand in cutcenes while the protagonist just sits and waits instead of acting to thwart the impending setback like he knows the plot needs another 40 hour delay.

The jumping feels soo weightless, floaty and absurd its like you own a jetpack. I'm all for accommodations and programming little tricks to make the game feel better but this just ruins the free running by making it feel wrong every time you jump.

Combats abilities are way more constrained. Older moves require extra steps to pull off that are often unresponsive.
Attacks with upgraded weapons merely have a chance of inflicting status effects or elemental damage so its not a consistent or reliable. some weapons launch people into the stratosphere for no discernible reason. I thought I had turned on some wacky setting.

Im only 12 hours in and I have played it since launch, thats gotta tell you how uncompelling and boring this game is. Hell the latest updates have only added frequent crashing to my play through so I hesitate to even try to get my moneys worth.

As I said about the last game I feel like some easy fixes that a modder could implement and axing the story would improve this game exponentially.
