I'M DOING MY PART!!!

launch was waaaaay above expectations so the devs and the servers are pretty overwhelmed, but it's an awesome game even with randoms.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

This is one of the best RPGs ever made, but its original writer, director and artist were kicked off ZA/UM by external shareholders driven by greed.

You can find and play the game through other means. Go do it.

UPDATE 2023: probably the best it has ever been

UPDATE november 25th: game's still nice. Not sure denuvo ♥♥♥♥'s still present. Won't ever reinstall it. Good while it lasted. Don't buy this, go play Hades or Prodeus. Prodeus is the real Doom 2020

UPDATE: id has reportedly updated the game and removed denuvo anti-cheat. Problem is they were unclear if that's temporary and they're also trying to spin the performance issues as related to cosmetic stuff. I'm not sure that makes sense and I see it as prioritizing money instead of customers in an otherwise excellent game, and because of that my review will stay negative until some definitive position is taken.

go show hugo and the team some love whenever you can, but don't buy this.

Game is fine. Denuvo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ added through an update made it unplayable for many users, tho.

10/10 would play as poop fish again
