You're missing out if this isn't in your library. There are so many things to do with endless possibilities. The modding community is great too.

This game is awesome! I love that as I'm building my empire and moving troops around my friends can be doing the same as opposed to typical Grand Strategy games where it's turn by turn.

Solid game.

This is truly a walking simulator.
When you first start and you have no gear the RP can be fun when you meet new people but once you gear up then the parnoia sets in and it becomes difficult to trust anyone. People literally will camp for hours just for the perfect shot and take everything you've acquired.

Once they add basebuilding then I'd say that this is a game worth playing.

If you and some buddies are looking for a game to pour hours into, then this is the game to play!
If you don't have hours to pour in then definitely looks elsewhere. (or stick to singleplayer)

The concept of the game is cool and there is a bunch to do. If they make the AI smarter then hopefully the thralls will be more useful in the future.

This game has potential as long as they fix the AI. It's fun to goof around for a few rounds but the terrible AI can get frustrating easily. I'm only recommending this because it's free and it's a way to pass the time with a buddy.

This game is definitely worth the price!
This is the best zombie survival game I've ever played. The survival and crafting aspects seem promising as long as they continue to develop the game.

*Puts shirt on*
Character instantly overheats.
*Takes shirt off*
Character experiences hypothermia.\
--The struggle is real-- ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you play alone or host a private server for friends it can be difficult to survive, especially since the more advanced items to craft useful things such as bullets are not guaranteed to spawn so some of your games will end in a bust. Don't be discouraged though, if you get tired of playing by yourself it's pretty easy to find fun communities to play with!

Don't forget that this game says it all in the title: 7 Days to Die
It's all about seeing how long you can last. The graphics may totally suck but if you can look past that, it'll yield a rich experience!

Ahoy!

Long story short, this is a great game regardless of it being early access. (As long as you have some buddies to play with)
I'll list the Pros and Cons first to keep this simple.

Pros:
1.) Shipbuilding is great especially once you learn the game physics.
2.) PVP is fun and there aren't too many griefers
3.) Community seems good thus far
4.) There are 2 creatures that will attack you if they are triggered. If this was a full release game then I would consider this a con but it's not. SO, it's currently a pro because it breaks up the search for recipes and resources.

Cons:
1.) Game gets repetitive fast. The only things you're able to do is grind to build a ship, hunt for recipes so you can build better items and prowl around for PVP once you have all the recipes unlocked.
2.) If you're alone, it's tough to get things done. It's much easier to have buddies playing so you can all specialize in a knowledge category.
3.) You can only invite crew members if the crew leader is online which can be a hassle.
4.) Sometimes the game will bug out your crew tab so your leader can't invite anyone, you can't open any containers OR you can't gain knowledge from the nodes.

There are no NPCs that give quests currently, which is unfortunate because that would help mix things up instead of soley focusing on the grind. There are a bunch of crazy glitches in the game that will kill you randomly but let's be honest, the comedy of how it happens breaks up the monotonous search for high tier resources. If the glitches aren't fixed within the next few months then this may become increasingly annoying.

I'm really excited to see what the devs do in the future of this game. It has a bunch of potential and I'm definitely going to hang around.
