To me, the best game made in many years. I personally can compare this experience to the Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, or even Skyrim in some respect, given how well made it is, with deep devotion, love and care. How refreshing and joyful! I've not enjoyed a single game this much in years. This is what proper gaming should be all about. A perfect palate cleanser after so much bad tasting garbage in the gaming market, and all gaming companies should take serious note of this. This is how you make games great again!

As is always true, this game is not for everyone. No game is, but for the rest of us 96% of gamers, it can not get much better than this. Great story, interesting characters, fantastic music and sound design, beautiful and interesting open world, massive amount of unique and hand-crafted content, amazing technical performance and attention to detail.

I've played the first game some 160 hours and absolutely loved every hour of it, even with it's problems and lacking features. This time around, they fixed most of the issues in the first game and made everything simply better. This is the game they wanted to make, and they succeeded with flying colors! The first one was a great proof of concept, and I'm very happy they got this far with it! Can't wait for the third one!

That is not to say there are no issues with this game, as there certainly are some glaring issues, but they are all minor things that won't greatly affect your gameplay experience. Like a glitched weapon sketch that you can buy and read, but don't get the blueprint for, even after buying and reading it multiple times (the Knight's Sword sketch from Trosky Castle blacksmith, worth around 650 groschen), and to my understanding it's one of the best short swords in the game, so it's very frustrating and annoying.

Or the fact that multiple treasure locations across the game world respawn the loot after a few days. Even though this can be considered a great thing with some lols, it is certainly not intentional, as it can easily break the game for you, giving you more money than you can spend (which happens easily anyways towards the end, so not a big problem).

Which brings me to another issue I have with the game: the end game. My main issue with the end game is the fact that there is nothing to spend my money on. I have nearly 100k groschen, and nothing to do with it. It'd be very nice to buy my own land and a home/house/estate or something to build and maintain with all my wealth, so maybe the devs will add something like that on a later date. Or perhaps the modding community? Who knows.

All said and done, this game is as perfect as a game can be. Of course not perfect, but nearly there. If I'd have to give it an arbitrary number, a 9.5 out of 10 would summarize my sentiment nicely. After some 240 hours, I can truly say this is my 2025 GOTY for sure, and this can not be beaten easily, most likely in many years to come.

Thank you Warhorse Studios for this amazing game! You deserve all the success with a game like this!

Making my way through the first game right now and really enjoying it. Cannot wait to play the second. I am glad to hear Warhorse did not compromise itself between the first and second games.

I am sure they will add DLC similar to the first game where there is some sort of money sink, plus Steam Workshop modding will be a welcome addition. Maybe it'll be a 10/10 on your second play-through in a couple years :73:
