Feels like devs have decided to F you over for every positve you're getting there will be a malus and then some more because sometimes you're not getting maluses for a positive right away and that's in normal mode.
Have you played Curse of the dead gods? It's kind of the same feeling but worse because there's kind of no RNG to save you.
