Season 1 Update: Still not fixed. Literally no fixes. Hype.

Just get the second helldivers and skip this mess. Thought everything would be attainable through gameplay like the second one. Apparently you actually have to buy dlc just to get things in this one. Yikes.

Not really worth playing in its current state. Maybe once they've had time to apply the original poe fixes then it'll be worth it.
Still a terrible game if you have friends. None of the content is remotely nice to play in a group.

Update: Played plenty more to give it a fair shot. Still bad. New big patch? Still not great.

Actually a terrible game. Holy. How does this actually have very positive reviews? You could have told me this was an AI designed game from a week ago and I would have believed you.

The in game bots are atrociously bad. Lock on through walls. Don't move on spawn. Just stand around and wait until you're within range of them. It makes Tarkov's AI look amazing which is sad.

The game itself feels like it's arcade but not quite arcade enough to be fun. It doesn't feel realistic enough to be a sim. It's a bad mix of COD and Battlefield. Just don't bother.

Well the obvious microtransaction model is atrocious so that's an easy negative from me.

No rejoining ranked matches is also a day 1 any type of competent dev would have had so hardcore negative there.

Can't select what kind of game you want to play. No difference in playlist between objective and slayer.

Basically, 343 proves again they don't understand halo.

Tail tag is somehow still in the game in 2021. Legit trash. Braindead devs.

I gambled away 6 hours of work in 20 seconds and I got nothing. 10/10

Combat sucks. Feels like I'm swinging dead fish at the enemy.
Combat text is off by default for some reason?
Got to level 7 and killed maybe 5 things. The rest of the time was spent running around talking to npcs for "quests."
Players, when rarely seen, are laggy. Opening doors felt delayed as well.

All in all, should be free to play if anything. It's hardly good enough for that...
