TLDR it's addicting.

Negatives:

- bosses having super quick hard to react to AOE abilities that hit really hard. (ex. Count Geogor and his jump in the air dive bomb attack. If you wanna dodge as melee you either need to already be moving or hope you reacted fast enough to get out).

- bosses with weird hotboxes (zalmarath) it comes and goes throughout the fight and causes some weird things to happen when you cast spells.

- gearing currently is very weird but looks like this is approving so hopefully will be a better experience.
Having to check merchants is just a weird vibe.

- skills should be mappable to the weapon of choice. This this works with moves that are different weapons. (2h to shield charge works great! Shield charge + a mace shield into a 2h mace skill requires you to hit a gear swap button to perform. (Steal this from D4 please!) The weird multispec was weird here but I think it'll make this waaay cooler if you can do things like this

- Where's my sword?! Reeeeeeeeeee.

How is no one complaining about the gun volume just being set to something so high that your ears melt?

Was messing with settings and didn't even realize that tutorial lobby is open and RANDOMS can join you. That was a very cool experience when he shot.

Some cool moments.

Then I run into the same enemies from the main game. (I heard you like drakes). Even if the side quest is cool, the drakes being added back in are dull. The fire golem look really cool for the first time then its just more chores.

Map is gorgeous. I was actually low key nervous in the horror area until I realized... THERE'S NOTHING IN THERE and get this... you have to walk through that whole area.

Also it's very easy to get frustrated trying to get to an area of the map where you have to look it up. I think the base game got that part better in my opinion.

DLC actually has some fun bosses. DLC also has some of the particle vomit bosses I've experienced.

Average experience for me.

KBM player here and I'm not going to swap to a controller.

It's pretty awesome to have a button buffered when you're knocked down before it comes out and then magically go out. Or maybe it won't be even read. Really fun.

Tons of bosses! Tons of duplicated bosses though.

Voting negative for these things alone.

Prob worth picking up under 35$ if you're on the fence.

If I could buy it again I would.

edit: I bought this for a friend. Coop is actually a pretty cool experience as well. Doesn't seem too laggy and the 3rd person animations look really good for the most part.

Not sure what happened but this game just feels like ass too me now. Movement is really fun but the guns feel lack luster.

*edit* gave it another chance. Still feels bad. I don't understand why modern shooters make it where you hold forward + a strafe button you instantly lose movement speed. It makes the game feel awful.

Kyoto has to be the worst map I've ever played in an FPS game as well due to the size and clutter. Some walls can't be peeked over for the light class as well BUT the other 2 can? very dumb.
