It's bad... I mean, usualy, when I open the game I end up closing it with a bad mood.
A toxic comunity and the non-prime mm is full of cheaters, smurfs and griefers. The scammers in this community are also a problem wich needs fixing.

You see, this game is the best fps arround there.
The comunity is toxic only if you are toxic too. I garantee that if you keep the respect, nobody will harm, and if so, you can always mute theam with the "mute" feature Valve gives to players.
The matchmaking in non-prime acounts used to be full of cheaters, but it is better now. This does not mean you will not find any, but if you do, you only need to report and wait till he gets Vac, because he will. The anti cheating is pretty efficient, thanks to the overwatch system. Getting prime for free is pretty easy. This game is easy to spend hours in without even notice, so leveling up won't be an actual problem.
Valve however don't have any type of protection against smurfs, and that is a problem, in my opinon.
Getting skins is cool, expecially if you spend some money on them. Valve actually helps to secure your account, and makes sure to warn you if you are going to a non-related site. If you read all the tips they give you and don't risk your skins for offers too good to be true, you will only get scammed if you're not carefull.
Getting better is easy. The rank system helps everyone to play with people on their level, and so, when you get better, eventualy you will rank up, and other chalenges await to be beaten.
Besides all the bugs and problems I found trough my experience, this is still one of my favorite games. it is a game where I can relax after a bad day... And by relaxing I mean get so mad at the shot that didn't connect I will go to sleep just to forget about it.
