Dark Souls 1 is a classic, properly refined and balanced coming from Demons Souls.
Remaster adds better performance and more FPS in areas like blight town.
All around better experience for PC. (use controller)

Original, challenging but not impossible bosses, I have finished the game with mostly melee pyromancer class and have done everything solo without summons or cheese.

One of the best level designs where you are not dependent on too many bonfires and fast travel, exactly how it should be. Fewer bonfires more shortcuts and interconnected areas.

Worst location for me is by far the Giant Crypt but you can use either lantern, spell or light bug hat.

Worst Boss is probably Gaping Dragon, the fight is incredibly easy and could've used more effort.

DS1 is one of my favourites of Souls games.
