Fallout 76, set 25 years after The Great War, you find yourself exiting a vault. One of many, your vault has enacted its "Reclamation Day" protocols. It is your job now to go out and conquer the wastes to rebuild society; or mold it into something harsher.

The game offers a wonderful atmosphere and attention to detail with dozens of new locations, NPCs, stories, and mysteries to discover. Constantly changing, Appalachia is never the same today as it was yesterday.

Link with friends or strangers to take on events; for newer players I suggest taking the opportunity to complete "Scorched Earth" any time it spawns as it spawns swaths of enemies as well as the Scorchbeast Queen. The event typically attracts higher level players who are almost always willing to team up or just allow you to farm the drops.

Build an astounding home for yourself and visitors. Find plans, build monuments, craft weapons, and sell your wares! In my time I have seen everything from deadly trap bases to extravagantly designed museums dedicated to the player's adventures.

All in all, an absolute buy and a must have for your Steam library if you are looking for a well paced and decently balanced MMO RPG.

A game which has stood the test of time - Thanks to its active modding community and loyal player base, Unturned has become a playground for a variety game modes and other events. (LVR Cup, great example).

Unturned has come a long way in its development and has always been the game it always was - a well paced and extremely fun survival sandbox. The game does not force you to do anything you don't want to do, it allows you to play Unturned versions of popular games like Tarkov and Rust; much more fast paced and a new experience as well.

All in all, in the long years since this game entered its infancy, it has done nothing but deliver!

What am I supposed to write that every other gaming journo hasn't?

A very relaxing game for history nerds and map painters. In game systems are expansive yet easy to understand; even more-so than Hearts of Iron IV and Victoria 2.

A very insightful game for the avid "thinker". It is a very telling, and not telling of story. The world you are thrusted in to gives you no purpose. You don't know why you are there, you just are. You follow the formula, you follow the leader.

Russian Devs literally to Russian to quit.

Updates have been slow, but that comes with any small developer team! The game as it stands is currently in Early Access. (July 2021). The game has, in my experience, little bugs. The story is linear enough but you won’t be stuck doing roundabouts.

As stated earlier, the game is in Early Access but there are TONS of weapons, clothing items, quests, and locations! (You can even fight a giant spider boss.)

The game also doesn’t restrict you to an area based by level. This means if you think you’re hardy enough to travel the wastes, you have full reign to do so.

There is a simple but expansive reputation system and NPC system. Want that really cool gun? You’re gonna have to work for it! Personal credits can be earned through quests via the specific camp.

All in all, I won’t lie, I love this game for what it is however you face the issue of large amounts of grinding and needing to take quite some time to achieve good loot unless you have chosen to buy it from the Game Shop or have (with a very chance) found your gear in a looting area.

Enjoy your stay in the Zone and prepare to get happily angrier.

Bored on a Friday night? Play hide-n-seek or go surfing with friends! Feeling a little competitive? Hop in to Prime Matchmaking with your friends or random strangers to engage in a competitive match against other players of your skill group.

I have owned this game since 2014 and have loved every minute I have played and I think you will to.

By far the best option if you are looking to sit down for hours and contemplate conquering the world as Ethiopia!
